Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the power of a piece of gear and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.
For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb ability in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more marketable than the perfect non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an item you have acquired like a weapon, armor, or ring. This swaps the current item for another similar item with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. They don't maintain the original equipment's condition and any money wasted will not be refunded.
The survivors can get Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in crates and chests or bought at the local store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of an item, for example increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can reroll their equipment into three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase damage from weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.
There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a higher quality. To produce them, you require an upgrade level token to reroll. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens that are placed on action spaces, stays on the spot until the next success is rerolled. This lets you avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Stage, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. Once they're opened they will display a complete description and icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's store will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
During the course of a game, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to selected Franchise Cards. This affects the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop sells to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones which increase the level of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. These stones can also be purchased by players who sign daily contracts.
To upgrade their gear, players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click on the "level up" button. This will show a list of the item's current level and what it will become when it is upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the requirements are satisfied, the user can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be upgraded in level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can last between a few seconds and minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and does not impact the longevity of the item. It's an excellent choice for those who wish to gain an advantage in combat but don't want to spend a lot of money. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded item onto an entirely new piece of equipment.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are many ways to obtain them. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Additionally players can also take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that lets you increase the power of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume upgrade materials and grant the item an increased level, which gives the item a boost in the area. This process can be repeated until the highest level of an item is attained.
Items with upgraded stats will have an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be added to more than one item upgrade at a time. Each upgrade component will require the purchase of a certain amount of items as well as a certain equipment level.
The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left one is where players can place an item to be upgraded, and the right slot shows a preview of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. When players have enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its highest level, upgrades are no longer available to it. When an item attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to the track will be offered at a discount.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be put into weapons, armor trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to offer an added bonus or effect while the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will damage the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced at will.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain attributes of weapons and armor that they currently have. The requirements to upgrade an item will vary based on the item type, but typically you'll need Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
The upgrade items can be incorporated into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide added effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from various sources in the game, such as crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it cannot be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades to an item upgrader can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" for instance, increases defense base and adds an additional 20 percent chance to block. In addition the dps enhancement "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Certain items benefit from being upgraded not so much for their improved stats and more because it lets players get the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by melee PvP communities and could be worth as much as 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
If you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item the game will show a pop-up window that shows the necessary requirements. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will place an item in your inventory once you have fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show how close to getting the upgrade completed. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
