Additionally, an upgraded item may be able to offer additional bonuses to its equipped unit. These upgrades are able to increase the overall strength of a group or individual unit, and may have a significant impact on the gameplay.
The items can be upgraded at any item upgrader NPC in the game. Generally these NPCs are found in major cities or questing locations. Players can also find upgraders by visiting dungeons with high-level bosses, and by talking to the NPCs in their garrisons of their faction.
The system of upgrading items in World of Warcraft provides players with the option of upgrading the levels of weapons, armor, and trinkets. This process is largely identical to the process used for gear reforging in Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor however instead of using the currency that is appropriate, players must visit an NPC to upgrade their items to complete the process.
Upgrades can be expensive, especially for armor and weapons. Depending on the upgrade track, each step up in item level can cost several Valorstones and crests. The total costs can be prohibitive for players who don't have the resources or are unwilling to grind them.
The game allows players to play a reroll of an upgraded item with a special tool in the menu of items. This option allows you to exchange the upgraded item with the level 1 version of it with an additional set of bonus effects. This can be useful to get better rolls on items that are already upgraded, but could be a waste of resources.
Requirements

The rerolled item also has different requirements for dexterity and strength. It is important to note that the item rerolled will not be able to maintain its strength or have any of its wasted resources.
Some upgraded items can only be rerolled only if the original item was a Unique Epic, Rare, or Rare. Some exceptional items are also suitable for rerolling, however their original stats will be replaced by an uninvolved bonus. Rerolling an item that is Rare or Epic item will produce the normal version, and doing the same with the Epic version will result in an elite version.
An upgraded item may also come with additional modifiers, which can increase the stats of the item and boost its performance. These additional modifiers aren't included in the upgrade cost. You can purchase them at the Trading Post, or through other players. Alternatively, they can be earned through completing certain missions in the game.
To upgrade an item of equipment, you need to visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko located in Central Flarine. You will require Power Dices depending on the item. (Dice 6 can be dropped by monsters 21+, Giants and Bosses; Dice 12 from Bosses). You will also require different amounts of Minerals, Erons and Giants.
Time is a factor.
Upgrades to items can be a great way to boost your gear and ship stats without having to upgrade them. Upgrades aren't cheap but they are a good method to boost your stats without having to spend a lot of time fighting. Each upgrade boosts the item's base stat to a certain extent and also gives a chance to get a bonus substat. The random substat could vary from a modest boost to a massive boost. Some upgrade components also come with cosmetic effects. Players can obtain upgrade items by crafting, buying from vendors or on the Trading Post, looting, or as a reward. In addition players can retrieve upgraded items by using an Upgrade Extractor, or salvaging them with a high-tier salvage kit. Glyphs that are placed in gathering tools are able to be exchanged without restriction.
By selecting the item and pressing the green button that has an arrow that rerolls, a player can reroll it into another upgradeable item. This alters the layout of the item window and allow players to choose up to six items to "recycle". The item that is recycled will be exchanged with a level 1 item upgrading of the same type. Rerolled items will not retain their level, nor the resources used to upgrade it.
An item's maximum upgrade level is determined by its tier and the quality. Uncommon items can be upgraded to a maximum of level six, while Rare and Epic items can be upgraded to level nine. Item upgrades are added to the base statistics of the item which means that they do not increase after a certain point.
