Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrading gear increases its base stats, and sometimes increases its other features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements and how many random augmentations are made available.
The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption function in PvP and/or add additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens let you roll a purchased item upgrader like an armor, weapon or ring. The item is swapped for one similar one and comes with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable method of upgrading gear. However, they don't retain the quality of the original item and any resources that are wasted will not be refunded.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests, or purchase them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item that could include increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can roll their equipment into three attributes three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase damage from weapons and melee attack and spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.
There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a better quality, with the requirement of a higher-quality reroll token order to create it. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
As opposed to other tokens or markers placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays on the spot until the next Success result is to be rerolled. This helps to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened they will display a complete description and the icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins.
During a run, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on selected Franchise Cards. This affects the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop sells for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. They can also be obtained by players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade gear to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The menu will appear showing the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item upgrading is determined by its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. After the player has met the requirements, he is able to select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last anywhere from seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is risk-free, and does not impact the durability of the item. This makes the system an ideal way for players to gain an advantage in battle without putting stress on their bank accounts. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto an entirely new piece of equipment.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are numerous ways to obtain them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an optional feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. It's done by adding upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade components and grant the item a higher level, granting the item a boost in the area. This process continues until the item is at its highest level.
Items with upgraded stats will have an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one Best item upgrade at once. Each upgrade component requires the purchase of a certain amount of items as well as a certain level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item to be upgraded. On the right side, an image of the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once a player has sufficient materials will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item has reached its maximum level, its upgrades will not be available to it. When an item is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be put into armor, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to provide an attribute bonus or extra effect when the equipment is being used. They can be bought through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs, which can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
The upgrades to items allow players the ability to increase certain stats of armor and weapons that they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ based on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium along with an amount of Upgrade Tokens.
Item upgrade components can be used to make set pieces or weapons to provide added effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can be obtained from various sources in the game, including crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components include additional modifiers that could further improve the item's stats.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense, and also adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. The DPS "Wildfire", on the other hand increases damage to weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players when they get an exact roll. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
When you select an upgrade component to be inserted into an item the game will display a pop-up window that shows the requirements required for that item. These include the type of item (either weapon or armor), the tier of the item, the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
If you've fulfilled the conditions for upgrading The game will then place the item level upgrade in your inventory, and the progress bar will update to show how close you are to completing it. You can also check on the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
