WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases item level by 3. Each upgrade also boosts a random substat.

The upgraded gear typically has a higher trade value as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or has a high stat variance (like eth titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the requirement to roll for a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade gear to a higher level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of armor or weapon. The item used to upgrade the item is discarded and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be applied to the enchantments.

You can upgrade your equipment at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended to visit the upgrader at least once every couple of weeks to ensure that your equipment is up-to-date.

Upgrades can cost more based on the level of the item, but they will always be cheaper than buying new gear. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest up to ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. A similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase tools, armor, weapon, and accessory upgrades. Players can purchase them from item upgraders NPCs for various currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased it can be used on any weapon or tool with an button, which displays an image of the item when it is upgraded in the event that the player has enough materials.

Upgrade costs vary depending on the item slot, and the current level of the item level upgrade [online]. For instance weapons are more expensive than bracers, or gloves. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones and a few crests, with certain upgrades offering discounts to reduce the cost of Flightstones or crests used. After an item has been upgraded to a certain degree it is able to be downgraded and sold to the upgrader for a lower price.

A lot of locations offer upgraders for items, including the main Island and some outposts. The NPCs provide an upgrade discount and a chance to obtain a new upgrade recipe. The upgrade discount increases when more items are upgraded. It can be increased by having players complete certain achievements or complete quests.

Unlike Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II is no item upgrader available in the beginning of Icewind Dale. Instead the NPCs that can be used to upgrade require various methods that are both an improvement as well as a disadvantage.

In Season 3 the upgrade system was tweaked a bit, with several new features added. After a player has earned an upgrade to a particular level of an Best item upgrader for a specific armor slot, upgrading additional items to that same item level will be less expensive, even if they belong to another set of gear.

The discount is applicable to all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests required to upgrade is also reduced and is not available until players achieve certain milestones in their achievements.

Crests

Players have a variety of options when it comes to upgrading their gear in WoW. Flightstones are an option that is accessible to everyone who wants to upgrade. Crests are more specific and are used for specific item upgrade level upgrades. Crests are the main component of the Dragonflight gear progression system introduced in 10.1 and are available in four ranks.

First, you should know that the crests can only be purchased for equipment with a certain rank. Each rank comes with a different upgrade path. The simplest and simplest upgrade process costs just 15 crests while the most complex requires as many as 20 crests based on the kind of gear being upgraded.

Players can earn crests by completing content at the appropriate level. This could mean doing outdoor activities, or by doing dungeons or raids in all difficulty levels to obtain lower-tier gear or Mythicbosses of raids or dungeons that have a high difficulty for endgame gear. These crests are then exchanged with an upgrader, such as Cuzolth or Vaskarn in Valdrakken for the appropriate upgrade steps and routes.

The use of these currencies isn't too difficult, but the system will introduce a few changes to the overall upgrade process. For instance, when an item reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic), it won't need Flightstones to be upgraded. This change is intended to allow players to get their equipment to the highest ilvl possible on all their characters, instead of relying on seasonal loot.

It's also essential to use crests wisely, as they only have one use. It's Best item upgrader to use your Whelpling-rank crests on the highest-quality gear you can find, and save Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next round of upgrades. This is particularly applicable to items like trinkets and rings that fill multiple slots. The account-wide discount will only be applicable if all the slots on the character are filled with high-quality gear.
