WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader
Upgrades will give you a boost in specific stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also boosts the random substatus.
The upgraded gear is usually more useful, unless the item has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a high variance in stats (like Eth Titan weapons). The latter see less value from upgrading due to the necessity to roll for a perfect model.
Recycle Points
The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade gear to a higher item upgrade level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any type of armor or weapons. However, the item that is used to upgrade will remain in use for a long time and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enchantments.
You can upgrade your gear at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended to visit the upgrader once every couple of weeks to keep your equipment up-to-date.
The cost of upgrading will vary based on the current level of the item being upgraded, but will always be less expensive than purchasing new gear from other sources. For instance, upgrading a Benthic chest piece to 385 levels will cost 20 recycle points, purchasing a similar piece from a different player will cost 105.
Valorstones
Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade tools, armor, weapon and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased by players from item upgrader mod upgrader NPCs in exchange for various currencies, and may also be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased, it can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor using the help of button, which will show an item upgrader mod's preview at its next upgrade level when the player has enough materials.
The cost of upgrading varies based on the slot of the item and the current level of the item. For example weapons are more expensive than gloves, bracers, or bracers. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones plus a set number of crests. Some upgrades give discounts on Flightstones. Once an item has been upgraded to a certain degree, it can be downgraded and sold to the upgrader for a lower price.
Item upgraders can be found in a variety of locations on the main island and some outposts. The NPCs offer both an upgrade coupon as well as the chance to obtain the latest recipe. The discount on upgrades increases with the number of items being upgraded. It is also possible to be boosted by having players complete specific achievements or complete quests.
Unlike Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II is no item level upgrade upgrader available at the beginning of Icewind Dale. The NPCs who can facilitate upgrades are only available via a variety of ways. This is both a positive and a drawback.
In Season 3, many new features were added to the upgrade system. After a player has earned an upgrade to a specific item level for a particular armor slot, upgrading additional items to that level will be less expensive, even in the event that they are part of another set of gear.
The discount is available to all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests needed to upgrade is cut as well, but is only available after certain milestones are reached.
Crests
Players have a number of options for upgrading their gear in WoW. Flightstones are an option that is accessible to everyone who wants to upgrade. Crests are more specific and are utilized during specific item level upgrades. Crests are an important component of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System introduced in version 10.1. They are available in four ranks.
The first thing to remember is that crests can only be used to purchase equipment that is of a particular rank, and each rank has different requirements for its upgrade path. The simplest and simplest upgrade is 15 crests. The most complicated upgrade can require up to 20 crests, depending on the kind of equipment being upgraded.
Players can earn crests by completing tasks at the appropriate level. This could mean doing outdoor activities, or by taking on dungeons and raids of any difficulty to earn lower-level gear or Mythic+ raid bosses or dungeons that have a high difficulty for gear in the endgame. Crests can be exchanged at an upgrader NPC like Cuzolth in Dornogal or Vaskarn in Valdrakken, for the appropriate upgrade pathways and steps.
Using these new currencies isn't too difficult however, the system will introduce a few modifications to the upgrade process. For instance, when an item is at the highest upgrade level of any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic), it won't need Flightstones to be upgraded. This is to allow players to get their equipment up to the highest possible ilvl on all their characters, instead of relying on seasonal loot.
It's also essential to use crests wisely, as they have only one purpose. It's Best item upgrader to put your Whelpling-rank Crests on the highest-quality gear you can locate, and keep Drake and Wyrm Crests to be used for the next set of upgrades. This is particularly applicable to items like trinkets and rings that fill multiple slots. The discount on the account will only be applicable if all the slots on the character are filled with top-quality equipment.
