Diablo 4 Item Upgrades
Item upgrades allow players to increase the item level of equippable items such as weapons, armor, and trinkets to a certain level. They can be done at any item upgrader NPC with the appropriate currency.
Slots are used to upgrade components into equipment to gain attributes bonuses and other effects. They are generally slot-restricted, but there are certain universal upgrades.
Rerolling
In Diablo 4, a player can reroll a item upgrade. This is accomplished by using the Level Up feature, which pauses your game and displays four randomly chosen upgrades. The number of crests and Flightstones required to upgrade an item upgrader is contingent on the level of the gear, and a maximum upgrade level is established by Blizzard. Upgrading to the highest upgrade level can be expensive particularly when you're upgrading gear for PvE.
