1. Roomba Q5 pro
The Q5 Pro, and its more expensive counterpart the Q7 Max Series are among the most powerful robotic vacuums that we have tested. They have motors that are top of the class and can handle up to 5,500 Pascals. Like other top iRobot models (including the top-rated model) they employ smart mapping technology to create precise floor plans and eliminate household obstacles such as cords and furniture legs. The robots also have the feature of Carpet Boost that boosts its power when it detects dirt on the carpet.
Both the Q5 and Q7 Max Series get very high scores on our bare floor tests They're also particularly adept at cleaning pet hair. However, they have some flaws that prevent them from being our top pick. One of the weaknesses of the Q5 is its navigation system doesn't have AI-powered obstacles avoidance. It's also prone to getting stuck on socks and shoes, and it couldn't navigate rooms with lots of people well in our tests. It doesn't also come with a camera to look around corners.
It's still a great deal particularly if your office or home has lots of unfinished flooring and you're looking to save some money. It's also extremely quiet and works while you are at work or school. The only thing it's missing that you can't find in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30 is edge-to-edge vacuuming on bare floors. It's also less effective in mopping. It is dependent on disposable wet wipes that don't stick very well and cannot handle dried-on debris. The Q5 comes with a self-emptying cradle however. If you're required to, the mopping pad can be changed for an awe-inspiring one in a matter of minutes.

In the course of testing, X30 Ultra was the fastest robot auto vacuum and mop/mop to clean an entire home, with 66 per cent of its battery remaining. It did a good cleaning job on various rooms and floors with various flooring types, including some area carpets. Its obstacle detection was top-notch and it was nimbly avoiding fake dog socks, turds, shoes, and bundles of cables.
It's more expensive than the iRobot Combo v9+ and iRobot Roomba j9+, however it offers superior suction, a built-in dust bin that automatically fills up its base, and also supports voice commands via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. 3. IRobot Roomba X40
With an elegant circular design that looks more like a normal Roomba rather than the compact models this robot vacuum and mop combo is one of the most appealing looking in our evaluations. It's also the only robot vacuum or mop that scored an absolute 10 out of 10 in our tests. This is thanks to a combination high-tech sensors, including a structured light system, camera and multiple lasers. It's also quite expensive, though it's not as expensive as Ecovacs X2 Omni or Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra Both of which are similarly capable and look better. If you're willing with a little more noise and some extra cost, this is a very powerful two-in-one that will satisfy most people.

It also mopses using a single pad and a rotating motion that is more efficient than most of the mop cleaners with robots that we've examined. It's also highly self-sufficient, with a full-featured app and a self emptying base that can be washed.
