Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide
Item upgrading is a key factor in maximizing your gearing potential. It allows you to add additional stats to your item's base level value.
Each upgrade template comes with several options that can be set up by using the edition GUI. These options include the upgrade reference and the upgrading chance.
Upgrade components
As part of the 2.0 update the system for upgrading armor and weapons in Cyberpunk was redesigned. Upgrade components are scattered throughout Night City. The item you wish to upgrade must also have an upgrade slot. When you select an item to upgrade item it will show a preview of what the expected stats will be following upgrading, and the component or material needed. If you don't have the required material or component needed to upgrade an item upgrades the button will show "Blocked."
The items that can be upgraded include armor and weapons as well as a few trinkets and gathering tools. The upgrade slots on each of these items can be filled with various upgrades that offer bonus features or additional effects when the equipment is in use. These upgrades can be acquired through crafting, purchased from a vendor or looted.
There are two types of upgrade components: universal upgrades and gems. Universal upgrades that are similar to gemstones can be used in any type of equipment and offer an inferior bonus than other types of upgrade components. Obtaining these is fairly simple, as they can be dropped by enemies or looted throughout the world. Gems however can be obtained by disassembling objects or completing certain tasks.
Upgrades can be taken out and replaced with new ones in the weapon's slot. However, this will destroy any prior upgrades. Except for glyphs, which may be added to gathering tools, all other upgrades are not able to be removed or salvaged once they have been placed in an item. Infusions can be put into legendary and ascended equipment. Enrichments are only obtainable using a high-end salvaging kit or an upgrade extractor.
Recycled Items
In the last two world wars, shortages of natural resources led the world to adopt recycling. Nowadays, it is commonplace to recycle paper, aluminum and plastic, giving them new life as something new. Recycling is a great way to save energy and keeps carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. It is also a great option to reduce the need for landfills and preserve natural resources. It is still important to know what items can be reused.
One common error that people make is to put the wrong items in the recycling bin. These waste products not only pollute the water, but they could also harm recycling equipment. To avoid this, make sure you read the label and follow the guidelines of your recycling program. Cardboard should never be mixed with tin cans or steel cans. Tissue should be disposed of. Plastic bags also get caught in recycling machinery and should be disposed of at a grocery store for reuse. Other items that should be thrown in the garbage include berry containers and food containers. The only exception to this rule is glass which can be used to build with.
When purchasing new items, it's important to look for the tag "Made with recycled content." This means that the item has been made using recycled materials from other products that have already served their intended purpose. This makes them an green option than new items made of raw materials. In addition the fact that they are a lot cheaper than the original ones.
It doesn't matter if it's an old tablet, phone or computer, you can reuse these items by taking them to an recycling center. They will reuse the material to make new electronics and other useful products. Some of these companies will even offer you cash for the return of your old products.
If you want your coworkers' recycling to be easier, standardize the colors of the bins as well as the signage at your workplace. This will eliminate confusion and increase participation. You should also designate a space in your office to recycle for example, an open bin or box in the breakroom.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens let you roll the dice to increase your stats and awesome powers. They are usually found in the mystery box or as rare drops from skulled monsters or bosses. Each token takes one attribute point from damage, and randomly transforms into a new attribute. You can also reroll extras on items, such as regeneration and speed.
The amount of extras that are added to an item varies with each level. The value of an extra is calculated as a percentage of the total stats for the item. Rerolling a token could alter the value. Additionally, the item's recycle value also increases with every upgrade. Generally, the value of an item's primary stat will increase by 3 with each level, while the value of its additional stats will vary.
Click the dice icon beside the item in your inventory to roll it again. You can also press the button on a different player's lobby, and then select "Reroll". After rerolling the item upgrades, it will be removed from your collection.
You can purchase rerolls and other in-game items from Sagbe which is an in-game Token Shop trader. The redemption of active codes will let you get free rerolls in Fire Force Online. These codes can be exchanged for a variety items, including Reroll Tokens or Clan Reroll Tokens.
Rerolls are useful early in the game as you are building your inventory. They are not the most effective method to increase your character's stats. Instead, you should focus on getting more skill points. You can also earn bonus points by completing the event stages.
You can also reroll your character's race by purchasing a race reroll token, which is available through the Zen Market. This token allows you to change your race only once, and it can be redeemed through specific packs or through the Token Shop. It can also be obtained as a reward when you complete Meg's cases during the Port Sarim invasion event.
Leveling
Upgrading an item upgrades in the upgrade process can increase its stats and Power Level. It also increases the cost and the amount of materials needed to complete the upgrade process. The kind of materials needed is dependent on the type of item. For instance, weapons utilize a combination of Destruction Stones and Guardian Stones. Armor is made up of Harmony Leapstones, Shards and other materials. Adding additional materials to the process may increase the chances of success, however this isn't a guarantee.
The process of leveling is calculated using formulas that determine how much damage or magic attack (magic weapons), and defense the upgraded item will receive when it is upgraded to the next level. The formulas vary depending on the type of weapon and rarity. There is also a maximum level for each type of gear.
The NPC will show an Upgrade option when the item reaches its maximum level. This allows players to upgrade the item to the next level by infusing it with experience. To maximize this process, it is essential to make sure their gear has reached its maximum level before upgrading. This way, they will save time and money that could have been better used for other upgrades.
When the upgrade is in progress while the upgrade is taking place, the NPC will display a window containing two lines. The first line displays the amount of Tech Points the upgrade will provide, while the second displays a preview of what the item will look like at its upgraded level. The preview may not be accurate if the item has modifications. However, it could provide a rough idea.
The NPC will display the price to upgrade the item. This will include the cost of Technology Points, if applicable. It will also show the price of an Accelerator if you own one. Accelerators are available for purchase via the Exchange and can increase the amount of Tech Points gained through an upgrade by 50%. This bonus does not apply to the chance of a product's quality that resets when the item upgrader is at the mark level.
The Upgrade NPC also offers the option of transferring gear. The Upgrade NPC can also offer a gear transfer service. This lets players save their progress and experience on a piece and transfer it to a new item that is in the same slot. This is beneficial for players who wish to change their gear, but don't have enough currency to buy a new set.
