Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the stats of a piece of gear and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements used.
The racial Shield elite Razortail For instance, it is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption function in PvP or provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll a purchased item, such as an armor, weapon or rings. The item is replaced by an identical item upgrader, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item and any resources wasted will not be refunded.
Survivors can obtain Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or purchased from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item, for example increasing its damage.
Players can reroll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack and spell power upgrade mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of a higher-quality reroll token order to create it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces The reroll marker is left on the space until the next successful result is repeated. This helps to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. Once they are open they will display a complete description and icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
As a result, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This affects the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop sells for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones which increase the value of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear players must first locate the item then click the "level up button". This will display a menu showing the item's current level and what it will be when being leveled up, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade item the item upgrader mod is determined by its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
After choosing the item to upgrade the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. When the requirements are satisfied, the user can then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item upgrader kit will be upgraded in level by a specific percentage. Depending on the item's rarity the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process also is risk-free, and does not affect the item's longevity. This makes the system an ideal way for players to get an advantage in combat without putting a strain on their accounts. By clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item onto the new gear.
The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for novice players. There are several ways to acquire the stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Additionally, players can cut down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It is accomplished by combining an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will use up the upgrade materials and grant the item an increased level, which gives the item an additional boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the highest level of an item is reached.
Items with upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components don't stack against each other, and can only be added to a single item upgrading at a time. Each upgrade component also requires a certain number of items as well as a certain level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left one is where players can place equipment that needs that they wish to upgrade, and the right slot shows a preview of what the equipment will look like once it is at its next level. Once players have enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.
When an item is at its maximum capacity that it can no longer have the option to upgrade. Likewise, once an item is on the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be inserted into armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools in order to provide an additional effect or bonus while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, obtained through questing or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by acquiring new ones. However, this can ruin the previous upgrade.
Requirements
Items upgrades allow players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on its type however, you'll generally require Dilithium as well as an amount of Upgrade tokens.
Upgrades to items can be incorporated into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide additional effects or to increase the item level. The upgrades can be acquired from various sources in the game, including crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is placed into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can boost the stats of the item.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense and adds an extra 20% chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire", on the other hand, increases weapon damage.
Certain items are better off being upgraded less for their increased stats, but more for the fact that it allows players to gain the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. These include the item type (either weapon or armor), the level of the item upgrader mod and the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
The game will add an item in your inventory after you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how far you are to finishing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
