1. Roomba Q5 Pro

The Q5 Pro and its sibling, the pricier Q7 Max Series, are among the most powerful robot vacuums we've examined. They feature top-of-the-line motors that can pull up to 5,500 Pascals of suction force. Like other iRobots with premium features (including the top model), they use smart mapping to create detailed floor plans and eliminate household obstacles such as cords and furniture legs. Both the Q5 and the Q7 Max Series get very good scores in our bare floor tests They're also particularly adept at cleaning pet hair. There are some issues however, which prevent them from being our first choice. One of the flaws of the Q5 is its navigation system doesn't have AI-powered obstacles avoidance. It's thus susceptible to become stuck on socks and shoes and could not navigate densely packed rooms very well during our tests. It doesn't also have a camera that can see around corners.

It's still a good value particularly if your office or home has lots of unfinished floors and you want to save money. Additionally, it's quiet and can be used when you're at work or going to school. It doesn't have the edge-to-edge floor vacuuming feature that's offered by the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30. It's also less effective at mopping, relying on disposable wet wipes that don't hold on very well and can't deal with dried-on debris. The Q5 is self-emptying cradle that can be emptied by itself. And, if you need to change the mopping pad for dry ones in just a few minutes.
