What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?
Transparent device that evolves certain Pokemon species. Silph Co. produced it.
The item upgrader adds a brand new widget to the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. This Manager is a cost of 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no benefit in terms of gameplay other than making it easier to buy upgrades.
Boosters
There are many boosts available with an item upgrader. These can include a variety of stats, as well as a number of extra bonuses. These bonuses can be applied to weapons, armor, and trinkets. They can be used to improve the abilities of a character, or they can be added as an element of variety to a build.
The World of Warcraft upgrade system allows players to upgrade their equipment by paying currency at an upgrader for items. This system was introduced in Mists of Pandaria and was extended with the release of Warlords of Draenor. It's a great way to increase the level of your equipment, allowing you bypass the monotonous grind of completing quests and avoid numerous wipes in Mythic+ dungeons.
When an item is upgraded its basic type will change. The upgrade of a normal item will create an Exceptional item upgrades, while upgrading an Exceptional item will create an Elite version of the same base item. The item will retain all of its prior upgrade statistics however it will also get an additional bonus from its new base type. The bonus is randomly chosen. It could be a weapon that has more damage range, an improved speed of reloading, or an enhanced max defense roll.
The amount of extras gained by upgrading is contingent on the amount of upgrades done. Each upgrade will increase the number of extras by three points maximum. Additionally, each upgrade will also increase the main stat by one.
Some upgrades also give you an additional random boost in addition to stat enhancements. These boosts can be useful and should be taken into consideration when deciding which items to upgrade. Some of these boosts are only beneficial in certain builds (such as Whistan's shield for FB sorcs) while others could provide a great deal of value to certain collectors.
Certain items come with inherent boo that is less effective when upgraded, like the Goldwrap that gives you additional slots for potion. These are usually upgraded to add value to a perfect or near-perfect item.
Costs
Upgrades have a few associated costs. The first is the cost for the upgrade. The cost is based on the item's new ilvl and the number of perks it will gain, and can be expensive. It can also be expensive to upgrade an item to a higher tier (such as Explorer > Champion, or Veteran > Heroic).
The other is the cost of items needed to upgrade. These are typically Power Dices (dropped from monsters 21+), Minerals and Erons or specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor Quests. The amount of these items required is available in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.
It takes time to upgrade an item. Depending on the size of the upgrade items, it can take as long as 8 hours. The base stats of an upgraded item are calculated based on its new ilvl and other characteristics. This calculation determines the latest Armor Class bonus, damage dice, as well as other important stats. In some instances, an upgrade can grant additional benefits. These perks are available on a list.
In rare instances the upgrade will replace only the most expensive benefits. Occasionally, the upgrader will make other adjustments to an item, such as changing the type of weapon damage or or removing an unwieldy or operational property. The cost for these modifications is determined by the item's new ilvl, and may require a special substance like the adamantine alloy.
Success Rate
The basis for upgrading items is a chance, and like any random system, there is a chance that the upgrade items won't succeed. However there are a few things which can improve the chances of success. This includes using an Upgrade Pity or the addition additional materials to your upgrade.
The Upgrade Pity can be bought from the NPC for the smithing process in Lost Ark. It increases the chances of an upgrade being successful by a certain percentage. It's similar to the "luck bonus" that some items offer, but it is more solid. It can be added to any weapon or armor and is able to be used up to three times.
You can also add additional components to the upgrade to increase its chances of success. These materials are displayed in a window above the + button. There are however limitations to this, and the largest amount of material that can be added is shown directly above the + button in the user interface.
A Blacksmith Blessing, or an upgraded version of it can be used to boost the chances of a successful upgrade. This item is beneficial when you own a weapon or piece of equipment that is at the maximum level for its tier or is close to it. It allows you to upgrade the equipment to the next level without risking breaking.
If an upgrade is unsuccessful the upgrade item will be reversed to its initial state. This is usually a break, but could also be an upgrade. It is recommended to save upgrades for when you're close to the maximum capacity of an item, and to use it as an option last resort.
There are many items in the Kafra shop that can be used to improve the odds of an upgrade succeeding. For example, upgrading a piece of equipment using HD Oridecon or HD Elunium multiple times will give you more chance of success. Similarly, enhancing the chance to receive a Double Mint from Shoe-Minting a maximum of five times will also improve the chances of success.
Failure Rate
The item level upgrade upgrader allows players to add a second slot in their equipment. These slots can be used to apply an enhancement or enchantment on an item. It is important to keep in mind that not all items can be upgraded. The rank of an item determines the rate at which it can be upgraded and enhanced. The higher the item's rank is, the more Zeny items are required to upgrade it.
This system can be quite expensive, particularly for high-end gear. It can cost between 100,000 z and 100 Carnium to upgrade a weapon or armor. As you advance in rank, the success rate decreases. You can increase the chances of upgrading an item by making use of cash shop items.
Normal Upgrade is the most basic upgrade that can be carried out on armor pieces, weapons and bikes. It uses different grades of core, depending on the type of item. In general, items with lower grades will require lower grade cores and higher-end items will require more expensive cores.
You must have the proper number of cores before you can perform an upgrade normally. Click the button next the Best item Upgrader you want to upgrade once you've got the cores. The upgrade window will display a percent indication of your chance of success. This percentage is determined by the upgrade level and core type of the product you have selected.
You can also opt for a safeguard that will protect your product in the event of a failure. The cost of this protection may differ but will always be less expensive than the cost of purchasing a new item. The safeguard can be used only once per upgrade, and is not a valid expiry date unless it is re-used.
The interface for the item upgrader is a bit difficult, but isn't impossible to navigate. The main menu appears on the left, and the upgrade window on the right. The arrows on the left side of the UI depict the various stages of the upgrade process. Click the question mark icon to receive help if you are unsure what you're doing. The process of upgrading could take as long as five minutes.
