WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you boosts in specific statistics. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by +3. Each upgrade also increases the random substatus.

Upgraded gear generally sees higher trade value as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or has a high stat variation (like eth titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the requirement to roll for a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by transferring the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item that is used for the upgrade will be consumed forever and can't be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to the enchantments.

You can upgrade your gear anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear up-to-date it is recommended you visit the upgrader every few weeks.

Upgrades will cost more, based on the level of the item, but they will always be less expensive than purchasing new equipment. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest up to 385 ilvl will cost you 20 recycle points. If you purchase a similar item, it will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase tools, armor, weapon, and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased by players from item upgrader kit upgraders NPCs in a variety of currencies. They are also available on random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased it can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor with the help of The button will show a preview of an Best item upgrade's next upgrade level if there are enough materials.

The cost of upgrading is based on the slot of the item and the current level of the item, with weapons costing more than gloves or bracers, for example. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones and a few crests, with some upgrades offering discounts to reduce the cost of the Flightstones or the crests used. After an item has been upgraded to a certain amount and is degraded, it can be sold and sold back to the upgrader for a lesser amount of the two currency types.

Upgraders for items can be found in a variety of locations including the main island, as well as a few outposts. The NPCs offer both an upgrade discount as well as a chance to get a brand new upgrade recipe. The discount for upgrades increases according to the number of items that are being upgraded, and can be increased by having players complete specific achievements or quests.

Contrary to Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II, there is no upgrader for items at the start of Icewind Dale. Instead, the NPCs that are available to help with upgrades require a variety of means that are both an improvement and a drawback.

In Season 3, several new features have been added to the upgrade system. When a player has an upgrade to a certain level of an Item level Upgrade - metooo.co.uk - for a specific armor slot, upgrading further items to that same item level will cost less even in the event that they belong to another set of gear.

The amount of Valorstones required to upgrade is reduced and the discount is affixed to all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests required for upgrades is reduced as well, but is only available after certain milestones are achieved.

Crests

When upgrading equipment in WoW players have a variety of options. Flightstones are an option that is accessible to everyone who wants to upgrade. Crests are more specific, and are used during specific item upgrading level upgrades. Crests are a key element of the Dragonflight gear progression system, which was introduced in 10.1 and are available in 4 ranks.

First, you should know that the crests can only be purchased for equipment that is that is of a particular rank. Each rank comes with a different upgrade path. The simplest and simplest upgrade path costs 15 crests, while the most complex requires as many as 20 crests based on the type of gear being upgraded.

Players can earn crests by working through content that is of the appropriate level, which involves walking around and engaging in outdoor activities for gear of lower tiers, dungeons or raids of all difficulty for items of higher tier or Mythic+ heroic raid bosses and dungeons to obtain endgame gear. These crests are then exchanged with an upgrader for the item upgrades, such as Cuzolth or Vaskarn, in Valdrakken to upgrade the item in the proper steps and routes.

Using these new currencies isn't too complicated however, the system will introduce a few modifications to the upgrade process. When a piece of equipment has reached the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer) it no longer requires Flightstones. This change is intended to allow players to get their equipment up to the highest possible ilvl for all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

Another significant modification is that crests have one usage, so it's important to use them wisely. For instance it's a good idea make use of all your Whelpling-rank crests on the top equipment you have, and then save Drake and Wyrm crests for the next round of upgrades you plan to make. This is especially relevant for trinkets and rings that occupy multiple slots on the character that will be able to take advantage of the account-wide discount when all slots are filled with high-quality equipment.
