Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mop are getting more powerful. They pass our tests on cleaning and are able to handle a variety of flooring. Find models that allow you to select from a variety of modes, and use their charging dock to self-empty and clean the stairs.
A lot of the top models work with your smartphone. Look for an application that lets you save schedules, maps and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It uses lidar for navigation, creating maps of rooms and floors.
When I tested the S1, it was able to locate our downstairs, which is home to Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, plus carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was able to drive close to walls without crashing into them, and even managed to traverse thresholds that were raised in the room without issue, though it occasionally had trouble navigating down the stairs in one move. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and lifted itself when it was near carpets or carpets.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills its water tank with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also provides a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1 water tank can be able to accommodate 12 mopping sessions, however this will differ dependent on how often you use the mop.
The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. For this, you'll need to wash the dirty water tank occasionally to keep it from becoming clogged. You will also need to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to avoid them getting blocked by dirt or dust. But, overall, the S1 is easy to maintain, particularly compared to other combinations that require more care.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robot vacuums uk mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a great choice to meet your cleaning needs. Its robot automatic vacuum cleaner boasts 8,700Pa of suction, and comes with many innovative features, such as full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning to avoid obstructions and cleans furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are remarkable, with mops rotating that actually lift and scrub the floor, rather than simply drag the pad across it. Mops can also be dried and cleaned at the base station if required.
This robot has an easy-to-use interface that guides you throughout the process. It also comes with a hand-vacuum which can be used to clean those hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are two water tanks which are automatically filled or empty. It also comes with a variety of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, with strong suction that effortlessly picks up most of the debris, and even smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are robust, however it does sometimes get hung in the small carpets or area mats that I have in my house (which is something you can reduce by defining a virtual boundary in the application). The mopping capabilities are quite excellent, too, with two spinning mops that actually lift and scrub floors instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops can be cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station when required. Mops can also be replenished at the top of the station if needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop has even more impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-off maintenance which makes it a strong contender for our best robot hoover mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition, and an extended side brush guarantee a thorough, customised clean.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It is a great choice on carpets and hard floors. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests well by avoiding pet hairs as well as other messes. The sweeping power is enhanced by a side brush that extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.
Its navigation is smart, navigating tight spaces and negotiating stairs without skipping a beat. It can move from one room to another without having to reverse direction. This is beneficial for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced than other models, however, and tends to leave a wide space around obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
Its app has a streamlined user interface that is designed to be easy to use for both new and experienced users. The app lets you plan and manage cleanings, change suction power and mopping settings as well as view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri and allows you to keep an eye on its progress from anywhere. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You'll require a reliable internet connection to access the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum that vacuums and mops vacuum can do a fantastic job of picking up debris and dirt but it's not always able to reach every last bit of dust. This is why it's crucial to use your regular vacuum once every week, particularly to pick up dust in corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop designed to do exactly that. It's easy to connect it to your WiFI network at home and it works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is an unadorned version of the company's pricier S-series models, including the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on cost by eliminating the mopping functionality and by using a cheaper plastic body.
The Q5 is still one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping robots we've seen in this price range, despite not being able to clean your floor. It's got a powerful suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It also comes with a smart application that lets you choose your floor's type and schedule cleanings. It also has an best automatic vacuum water tank refill and wash system for hands-free operation.
The mops also stand out with their 2700Pa power that can tackle dirt and pet hair, on both carpets and hard flooring. The Q5 is among the few robots we tested that didn't show any trouble with high-pile carpets and area rug, but it was unable to clean up cat litter or cable tangles, which is no surprise given that it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robotic vacuum we've ever tested. It also has an innovative mapping system that allows it to reach corners and tight places that other vacuums can't. It also collects more dust in the larger bin, meaning that you don't need to empty it as frequently. It also has washable filters that further lower the costs associated with using the device. This robot can also detect carpets and boost the suction if required. You can also mark areas you want to keep out of the app.
