Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that converts from a single stroller to double stroller by the addition of a second seat or glider board (sold separately). It can also be set up into a triple travel system by adding a bench seat or infant car seat. It has 24 configurations in total and is the top-rated stroller. This model utilizes Baby Jogger's breathable, soft TENCEL fabrics that help with thermal regulation and are sustainably sourced. It comes with a premium leatherette handlebar as well as a bumper bar, and comes with a belly bar. It folds 20 percent smaller than the industry-leading single-to-double stroller, the UPPAbaby Vista V2 and is lighter, too.
It has a medium-sized sunshade and a handy magnetic peek-aboo window that is easy to open and close. The telescoping bar is of the most easily adjustable and works for parents of any height. The seats recline, and there's a footwell adjuster button to help you position your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin is spacious, but we wish it had an opening that is more secure. It's easy to access but we discovered the zippers to be somewhat frustrating as they have to be completely removed and refastened to each use.
Like its brothers Like its brothers, the City Select has single-action brakes that are easy to set and release with the pulling of a lever located on the side of the frame that is lower than the handlebar. It is suitable for sandals and barefoot and is a significant improvement over the clunky brake levers other brands use.
This is the only stroller in our review that accepts two infant car seats, making it a great option for twins or for parents with one kiddo and a baby on the way. It can fit most infant car seats from the major brands using an adapter. We tested it on the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models as well as the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is incompatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is a good option for families who already have a car seat, but want a stroller which can accommodate it. However, you might prefer a convertible stroller in this instance.
