WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader
Upgrades will give you a boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases item upgrader kit level by +3. A random additional substat is also increased with every upgrade.
The upgraded gear typically has a higher trade value, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or very high stat variation (like the eth titan weapons). The latter see less value from upgrading due to the requirement to roll for a perfect version.
Recycle Points
The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. The item used to upgrade the item level upgrade (please click the following website) will be consumed and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be applied to Enchantments.
You can upgrade your equipment at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear current it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every several weeks.
The cost of upgrades will be based on the current item level of the equipment being upgraded but they will always be less expensive than buying new equipment from other sources. For example upgrading a chest piece from Benthic to 385 ilvl will cost 20 recycle points while buying a similar item from a different player will cost 105.
Valorstones
Upgrades are items that are used to level up weapons tools, armor, and other items. They can be purchased by players from NPCs of item upgraders for various currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor. The button will display the item's next level of upgrade, when there are enough materials.
The cost of upgrading varies based on the slot for the item and the current level of the item. For instance, weapons will cost more than bracers, or gloves. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones plus a specific number of crests. Some upgrades give a discount on the Flightstones. Once an item has been upgraded to a certain level it is able to be downgraded and sold to the upgrader for a lower price.
Item upgraders can be found in many places including the main island and some outposts. The NPCs offer an upgrade coupon and a chance to obtain the latest recipe. The discount on upgrades increases when more items are upgraded. It can be increased by having players complete certain achievements or complete quests.
In contrast to Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II there is no upgrader for items at the start of Icewind Dale. Instead, the NPCs that can be used to upgrade require a variety of means which is both an improvement and a drawback.
In Season 3, several new features were added to the upgrade system. Once the player has upgraded to a certain item level for an armor slot upgrading other items to the same level will cost less. This is regardless of whether the items are from an entirely different set of equipment.
The amount of Valorstones required for upgrades is reduced, and the discount is affixed to all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests needed to upgrade is reduced too, but it is only available once certain milestones are achieved.
Crests
When upgrading equipment in WoW players have a few options. Flightstones are a currency that is available to everyone who wants to upgrade item. Crests are more specific, and are used during specific item level upgrades. Crests are the main component of the Dragonflight gear progression system that was introduced in 10.1, and come in four ranks.
First, you must be aware that Crests are only available to equipment that is of a particular rank. Each rank has a different upgrade path. The simplest and simplest upgrade path costs 15 crests, while the most complex requires as many as 20 crests based on the type of equipment being upgraded.
Players can earn crests by finishing content at the appropriate level. This could be by doing outdoor activities or doing dungeons or raids in all difficulty levels to obtain lower-level gear or Mythic+ raid bosses or dungeons that have a high difficulty for gear in the endgame. The crests can later be exchanged at an upgrader NPC, such as Cuzolth in Dornogal, or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to get the appropriate upgrade pathways and steps.
Using these new currencies isn't too complicated, but the system will introduce a few changes to the overall upgrade process. When a piece of equipment attains the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer) it no longer requires Flightstones. This change is intended to allow players to upgrade their gear up to the highest level possible for all their characters rather than relying solely on seasonal loot.
Another notable modification is that crests have one use therefore it's essential to use them wisely. For instance, it's a good idea use all of your Whelpling-rank crests on the Best item upgrader equipment available and then save Drake and Wyrm crests for the next round of upgrades you're planning on making. This is particularly true for items like trinkets and rings that occupy multiple slots on the character, that will be able to take advantage of the account-wide discount if all of the slots are filled with high-quality equipment.
