Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the stats of a piece of gear and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations can be applied.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail for instance, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP and/or provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an item you have acquired like armor, weapon, or rings. The item is swapped for another similar one, with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't keep the original level of the item and any money wasted aren't rewarded.
The surviving players can acquire reroll tokens in several ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in chests and crates or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of a piece of equipment, such as increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment in three attributes three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage done by melee and weapons, while spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player additional health.

Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the value of an Best item upgrader by increasing its stats or attributes. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade their gear players first need to identify the appropriate item, and then click on the "level up" button. The menu will be displayed that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets players boost the stats of their weapons armor, helms and trinkets. The process will consume the upgrade materials and give the item an upgrade level, giving the item an additional boost in that particular area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level of an item is reached.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon next to their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade items components do not stack against each other, and can only be added to one item at a time. Each upgrade component will require a certain number of items and a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the first is where players can place equipment that needs to be upgraded, and the right shows a preview of what the equipment will appear like when it reaches its next level. Once the player has enough items, pressing the yellow arrow will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded the base stats of the item will increase by only a tiny amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum capacity that it can no longer have the option to upgrade. In the same way, once an item reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to that track will come with discounts.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to provide an added bonus or effect while the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained by completing quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped by acquiring new ones. However, this could ruin the previous upgrade.
Requirements
Upgrades to items allow players to boost certain stats of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ depending on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium along with an amount of upgrade items tokens.
Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to weapons and equipment. These will provide extra effects or an increased quality of the item. The upgrades can be acquired from various sources in the game, including crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an object, it cannot be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components include additional modifiers that could further increase the stats of an item.

The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. These include the item type (either Armor or Weapon) the tier of the item and the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
The game will add an item in your inventory after you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how far you are towards completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
