1. Baby Jogger City Tour Double
The City Tour 2 Double stroller is the smallest in the Baby Jogger range. It was designed specifically to travel and fits through standard doorways easily with its narrow and slim design. It's also among the lightest double buggies you can find that weighs just 14lbs when folded. It's ideal for travel with a newborn and toddler as you won’t exceed the allowances for luggage on airlines. It folds down to the size of a bag for travel so that you can put it away in the back of your car when it's not being used.
It's simple to fold the Z-shape using one hand. Once you get used to it, it's small and takes only a few minutes. However our tester found the auto lock to be a bit confusing and as the handlebar isn't locked into place when you press it, it hit her legs when she used it. She also felt that the handlebar was a little shorter than she would like and especially with the large changing bag hanging off of it.
The double stroller isn't as light as other travel buggies. It comes with a wide array of features and is one the most versatile double strollers available on the market. It's compatible with two carrycots (available separately) It also has multiple recline positions, and comes with an UV 50+ canopy. You can put a bassinet on either or both seats to make this an all terrain double buggy-in-one travel system.
The four rubber composite tires are great for pavements as well as urban terrain. However, they are not designed for off-roading. They had trouble with long grass and gravel and there was not enough clearance between the wheel bracket and wheel, so mud stuck easily. Our tester loved this buggy and was able to climb some beautiful dirt hills.

It's a heavier tandem buggy however it's incredibly easy to operate and steer, especially on smooth pavements. It is stable in both double and single mode and even on sloping terrain. It is not as easy to use on public transport since it requires two hands to hold the handlebar. It is also bulky and will not fit into a standard car boot with the seat attached, but this can be overcome by careful planning. iCandy have included an infant footmuff, a changing bag and car seat adapters in the price so this is an excellent value bundle for parents who are new.

Our testers noted that the Nipper Double was incredibly easy to manoeuvre, even when moving on uneven ground or turning fast in a busy street. The fact that the seats can be reclined independently was an enormous hit.
They also liked that the hoods were able to be moved back and forward, which made them easier to adjust to the sun or for wind protection. They didn't offer the same amount of coverage as the Baby Jogger City Mini Hoods. It's worth having an extra rain cover inside the case.
Overall, our testers were impressed with the Nipper double's ability let them take their twin daughters Sydney and Lyla to all kinds of adventures. From seeing wildlife in the forest or rushing to a park to play with their friends, they loved it. They were also amazed by how cozy and spacious the two seats are with plenty of space for growing toddlers to play in. Our test participants did not agree that the lack of a parent-facing seating and inability to use car seats with the buggy was a disadvantage, and they would have liked to have seen more storage space for shopping and other gear.
