The i3+ isn't able to feature obstacle avoidance features like the i7+ or other top-rated robots that we test. It may get stuck on power cords and socks, and may have trouble navigating between different surfaces, like rug and hardwood.
iRobot suggests that you clean the area in which the i3+ EVO vacuums before using it. This includes putting away any toys or other clutter it might come across. It's also a good idea to keep the bin and filter clean so they don't become clogged with dirt. If the i3+ EVO's internal bin is full or its battery is empty it goes back to its docking station, automatically empties its trash into the station's dust bin and then resumes cleaning where it started. The i3+ EVO's battery can last for about an hour and a half of continuous use, and takes about three hours to recharge.
2. iRobot Roomba i7+

The i7+ is quicker and more maneuverable in our tests compared to the eufy RoboVac G30. It also removed large pet hair pieces from all surfaces including carpeting. Its greatest advantage over the Eufy is its self-emptying bin that eliminates the main sources of maintenance and lowers the cost of recurring maintenance.
We were also amazed by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services, which we used to instruct the robot to start, stop or pause its cleaning sessions and move around the room and sweep a specific space. The process of connecting the i7+ to these services was simple and straightforward through the iRobot Home app. After being connected, to voice commands to the i7+ for example "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options for managing the i7+'s settings and monitoring its performance.
3. Dyson Cyclone V10
In a world full of vacuums with cords that look like minivans or buses, this small Dyson model feels like a sports car. It's powerful enough to replace a stand-up vacuum in most homes, but it is also compact enough to fit on a bookcase or coffee table.
The V10 is powered by a seven-cell, energy-dense lithium-ion battery that produces fade-free power for 60 minutes. The sophisticated whole-machine filter system captures allergens, and then releases fresh air into your home. Its specialized cleaning head drives bristles made of nylon that are stiff into carpets to trap large dust and crumbs. It has three suction modes that can be adapted to the specific task.
