Subjectively, I found that the GP500 was extremely accurate in grayscale OOTB. I measured a DeltaE value of just 2.3 which is less than the amount visible to the eye. This is quite good. The Dynamic Contrast function was a great help in bringing depth to Life of pi's few night scenes and the color display was fantastic. Avatar looked great as well.

The GP500 has tabs for opening both on the left and right sides of the shield. It is Pinlock Max Vision ready. It has an automatic shield lock to prevent it from opening during riding (or an accident). There's a double-d ring fastener on the back of the helmet, and it's non-tool-operated.
The auto-focus feature was extremely quick and it worked well - producing clean clear images that had lots of distinct shades. It struggled with the dark night scenes in Life of Pi, but otherwise, it gave a cinematic feel.
There are no race rep graphics available for the GP500, but you can purchase Airoh Sectors and Cosmos with a black finish. You can also buy it with Rockstar Drive and Check graphics to give it a more race-focused appearance.

These can be beneficial in less than ideal installations since they make it easier to display a flat image. They do, however, degrade the quality of images. It is crucial to keep in mind this. The GP500 has an excellent grayscale performance OOTB and produced very clean and distinct shades.
