Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile, multi-purpose stroller. It can be transformed from a single stroller into a double stroller by adding an additional seat (sold separately) or glider board. It can also be configured to create a triple-travel system by adding a bench seat or infant car seat. It offers 24 options and is a top-ranked stroller overall. The model is made of Baby Jogger’s soft, breathable and sustainably sourced TENCEL fabrics. They help regulate temperature. It comes with an elegant leatherette handlebar and bumper bar, as well as a belly bar. It's 20% smaller and lighter than the most popular single-to-double stroller on the market, the UPPAbaby V2.
It has a moderate-sized shade as well as a magnetic peek-aboo window, which is easy to open and close. The telescoping handlebars are one of the easiest to adjust and works well for parents of all sizes. The seats recline, 3 Wheel double pushchair (risager-pollock.hubstack.net) and there's a footwell adjuster to assist you in positioning your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin has plenty of space, however we would have liked a more secure latch. The bin is easy to open, but the zippers can be frustrating because they have to be removed and then refastened after every use.
Like its siblings, the City Select has single-action brakes that are simple to set and release with the pulling of a lever located on the side of the frame that is lower than the handlebar. It's sandal and barefoot-friendly and is an improvement over the awkward toe-pinch brake lever that a few of the competitors utilize.
This is the only stroller in our review that can accept two infant car seats making it an ideal option for twins or for parents with one kiddo and a new baby due. It can fit most infant car seats from major brands using an adapter. We tested it using Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models, Cybex Aton and Aton Q as well as Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It's a good choice for families that already have a car seat and want a stroller to accommodate it, but you may be better off with another convertible stroller that fits an additional car seat in this instance.
