The amount of extras gained with an upgrade depends on the amount of upgrades performed. Each upgrade will increase the number of extras by a maximum of 3 points. Additionally, every upgrade will also increase the main stat by one.

Some upgrades also give you a secondary random boost in addition to stat increases. These boosts can be valuable and should be considered when deciding which items to upgrade. Costs

The second is the price of the materials required to upgrade. These changes are based on an item's ilvl. They may also require special materials, like Adamantine.

Success Rate

The higher the rank, the more zen and items you will need to upgrade it.
