The best robot vacuum and mop Robot Vacuum That Mops

Noah Pinsonnault works as a product analyst for Good Housekeeping's Home Care and Cleaning Lab.

He tests and evaluates cleaning appliances, focusing on robot vacuums and mopping combos. Multitaskers can be ideal for those looking to eliminate mopping from their to-do lists. Some of them have excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. Some wash and refill mopping pads to ensure a hands-free clean.

The Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot vacuum that can also mop, this is the model to go for. It's smaller than the other models, making it easier to maneuver into tight corners or under furniture. It comes with a 220 degree Lidar which, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, gives it some of the best robot cleaner navigation and object avoidance capabilities I've seen in a robotic vacuum. It packs a powerful 4600mAh battery that can last for up to 170-minutes when mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it can run longer in turbo). It will even return to its dock to replenish its battery in mid-clean.

It's efficient and does a great job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It is able to vacuum carpeted rooms quickly and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and hallways with only one motion. Its motor of 8,000pa is able to remove dirt hair, pet hair, and droppings effortlessly. Carpet detection boosts power automatically when it comes in contact with carpets and the two side brushes help pull out debris from corners.

The mopping performance, while still impressive, isn't as impressive. The mop's rotating motor spins at a high rate and it pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, easily cleaning up dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arms protrude out a bit more than other robots, which is useful to get into tight corners and along baseboards. The front arms can be employed to clean larger pieces of debris, such as broken toys and books.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mop and vacuums I've used. It doesn't create the same amount of noise while vacuuming or mopping and is much quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it has to use a proprietary mopping solution and is sold separately. It's easy to install and is effective however this is something that you'll have to be aware of when you purchase this vacuum solely for the reason of mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from most robot vacuums that mops in its class. It is a powerful cleaning machine with a range of features.

The device has an extremely powerful and impressive cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensors with an RGB camera to map the home and identify furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean efficiently and methodically. This will ensure a thorough and consistent clean, while also being relatively fast.

In terms of mopping, the Q Revo's DuoRoller mop pads are capable of reaching many different surface areas. This includes corners, baseboards and other hard to reach spots. The side brush can be stretched to reach the floor near to the walls or other fixtures. Additionally the mop pads can be washed and dried to prevent the build-up of dust and reduce odors.

App-based customization is another notable feature. The Q Revo allows you to adjust the intensity of its suction and choose between a back-and-forth or slightly more randomized pattern. You can also alter the number of passes it will make, which will determine the speed at which the device can move through your home. You can even choose to disable the side brush to avoid damaging rugs and carpets.

The device comes with a expensive price tag, but it comes with a large selection of innovative features. It's important to note that it incurs recurring expenses in the form of mopping supplies and maintenance. For instance the brushroll needs to be replaced after 300 hours or every six to twelve months. The filter will need to be cleaned after 150 hours and the mop pad needs to be replaced every one to three months.

This robot vacuums that mop (git.huixuebang.com) vacuum mop has a high Amazon rating and comes with many physical automation features. The robot vacuum also comes with a power button which doubles as a 'Clean' button' and a 'Home button to send it back home after cleaning. It also comes with a multifunctional dock that automatically empty the dustbin, refills its water tank and washes and drys its mop pads.

The Shark Matrix Plus

The Shark Matrix Plus will be the ideal option for busy professionals or anyone looking to keep their home tidy without spending too much time doing chores. It has powerful performance, intelligent navigation, and a long battery life that makes it simple to keep your home clean with little effort.

The Matrix Plus robot vacuum is an all-in-one vacuum and mop. It is able to perform vacuuming as well as mopping. The robot is divided into two modules, a dry bin and water tank that can be easily snapped in and out and a mopping module which has a microfiber pad. Separate modules for mopping and vacuuming might seem a bit outdated but they're a good thing because that you don't need to worry about changing bags for disposables or refilling the water tank.

Our testers discovered that the Matrix Plus did a great job at both vacuuming and mopping. Its most impressive feature is its precise floorplan map, which it employs when cleaning. This made it a breeze for the Matrix Plus to navigate around furniture carpets, rugs, and other obstacles. The app also offers the option to set 'No-Go zones' and virtual barriers, which help to keep certain areas of your house from being swept with a mop.

The Matrix Plus also did a surprising job of collecting hair from pets. It was able capture some of the hair sheds from our cats. It even got into some of the nooks and crannies of our stairs, where other robots had struggled. It was quiet and even had some nice jingles that let you know when it was starting or finishing its work.

The biggest flaws were its lack of sophistication and the requirement to swap out the modules whenever switching between mopping and vacuuming. The app isn't able to contain multiple maps, which could be a pain when you live in a house with a mix of floors. The Matrix Plus is a good option for those who want a smart robot that can do both mopping and vacuuming.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive in our review. It does however, have some unique features which make it worth looking into. The X1 Omni is most well-known for its huge dock that serves as a charging base for the robot hoover, a sink for cleaning and two 4-liter water tanks. It also houses the 2.5-liter dustbin and the 2.5 dust bin that is 2.5 liters.

The base has a couple of buttons for control that allow you to manually start a cleaning task or recall the robot vacuum cleaners reviews, or run the dock's automatic emptying procedure. Hold down two buttons to switch on the child lock which is a great feature for parents who are worried about kids tinkering with the vacuum.

The Omni Omni, like other robotic vacuums uses its camera to detect obstacles and furniture that are in its path. It will avoid them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system can map your home 10 times faster than laser detection systems and is four times more precise at recognising objects.

Unfortunately, this means that the X1 Omni will occasionally get caught up in obstacles, like an electrical cord dangling across a rug--that it becomes stuck and ceases to function until you manually free it. While this was rare, it was a frustrating experience when it happened, especially since the X1 Omni does not have an "stuck" status alert in its app.

Another possible issue is one of the biggest drawbacks is X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming modes during a cleaning session. You will have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't that bad, except that the mopping pad doesn't get cleaned or dried between uses. This can cause mildew and mold.

On the positive side, the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who conceptualized its sleek, modern-looking base and mopping pad. It's a huge departure from the utilitarian all-black bases of rivals such as Roborock or iRobot. It's also an impressive sight in a market dominated by clunky boxes.
