1. Baby Jogger City Tour 2 double buggy for twins
The City Tour 2 Double is the smallest double stroller in the Baby Jogger range. It's designed to travel and easily fits through most normal doors thanks to its slim design, it's also one of the most lightweight double buggies that are available, weighing only 14lb when folded. It's perfect for traveling with a toddler and infant because you won't be able to over-exceed airline baggage allowances. It can also be folded to the size of a small double buggy travel bag, making it easy to store in the back of your car.
The one-handed, Z-shape folding is easy to fold and it's extremely compact once you've mastered it. It takes a few seconds to unfold. However, our tester found the auto lock to be a bit confusing. Also, since the handlebar doesn't lock into place when you press it, it hit her legs when she was using it. She also thought the handlebar was on the short side. This is especially true when a large change bag is hanging from it.
Unlike other lightweight travel buggies, this doesn't skimp on features and is one of the most full-featured double strollers that are available. It's compatible with two carry cots (available separately), has multiple recline positions and an UV 50+ canopy. You can put the bassinet to one or both seats to make this a travel system.
The four composite wheels made of rubber are ideal for pavements as well as urban terrain, but they're not built for off-roading. They slid with long grass and gravel and there's a lack of clearance between the bracket and the wheel, so mud was able to get stuck easily. Our testers loved this buggy, and it was able to climb some beautiful muddy hills.

They're also adjustable, so they can be set to suit the needs of siblings. iCandy has included the first-ever "cinema seating" design that allows parents to maintain eye contact with their children. They can also be adjusted to face either parent or to face the world.
It's a heavier buggie in tandem, but it's easy to operate and drive especially on smooth pavements. It's stable in double and single mode and even on sloping terrain. It's not as simple to use on public transport as it requires two hands on the handlebar. It's also a bit bulky and won't fit into a standard family car boot with the seat attached but this is a problem that can be overcome by thoughtful planning. iCandy includes a footmuff and changing bag included in the price, so this is a great value package for parents who are just starting out.

The 360 swivel wheel on the front can be locked for easier manoeuvring around the city, and the single pedal easy-lock brake is simple to use.
Our testers noted that the Nipper Double was incredibly easy to maneuver, even moving on uneven ground or turning quickly in the middle of a busy street. The possibility that the seats could be reclined independently was also hugely appreciated.
The hoods were also easy to adjust for sun or wind protection. They did not offer as much coverage as the Baby Jogger City Mini Hoods. It's probably worth having an extra rain cover inside the case.
Overall, our testers were impressed with the Nipper double's capacity to allow them to take their twin daughters Sydney and Lyla to all sorts of adventures. From spotting wildlife in a forest to rushing to the park to play with their friends they were thrilled. They were also amazed by how comfortable and spacious the two seats are, with plenty of space for toddlers to stretch out in. The lack of parent facing seating and the inability to use car seats in this buggy were cited as a problem by our testers. They would have wanted a bigger storage space for shopping and other equipment.
