Upgrades boost the value of certain numeric stats on armor, weapons and rings. Upgrades can also boost bonuses like crit chance and PvE Damage.

Components

Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, weapons and armor in order to give them a boost in stats or add a bonus effect. These can be obtained by making crafts, buying from vendors, trading with other players or looting. Some upgrades can also be accompanied by specific cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can only be used on equipment that has a slot. The item must be upgraded to blue level before the component can be used. Leveling
