15 Item Upgrade Benefits That Everyone Should Know
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats and sometimes increases its other features. The value of these upgrade is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations are applied.
For instance, the top shield for racial discrimination Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb function in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the perfect non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an acquired item like armor, weapon, or ring. The item is replaced with another of the same kind and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens are an affordable option to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the level of the original item, and any wasted resources aren't refunded.
The survivors can get Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be located in crates and chests, or purchased at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on a piece of equipment that could include increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment using three categories that include physical power, magical power, and health. Upgrades to physical power increase damage from weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a better quality. To produce them, you need a higher-quality reroll token. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays on the spot until the next successful result is repeated. This helps you save upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of each Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they will display an explanation and icon for the appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of money.
In the end, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls, and those that are in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that can increase an item's level by increasing its stats and attributes. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear players first need to find the item they want to upgrade and then click on the "level up" button. The screen will show a summary of the item upgrader mod's level, and what it will become after being leveled-up. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he is able to select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. Based on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is risk-free and does not impact the durability of the item. This makes the system an ideal way for players to get a significant advantage in combat without putting stress on their bank account. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto an entirely new piece of equipment.
New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are numerous ways to acquire these stones, such as signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Additionally players can also take apart higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to increase the effectiveness of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It's done by the combination of an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will use up the upgrade components and grant the item upgrades a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in the area. The process will continue until the item upgrader kit reaches its maximum level.
Items that have upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be applied to more than one Best item upgrade at once. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a specific number of items to be used and an appropriate level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add items to be upgraded. On the right side, an image of the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. When the player has enough items by pressing the yellow arrow, it will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum level and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. When an item is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades for that track will have a discount.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools to provide an extra effect or attribute benefit while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will damage the previous upgrade, except for glyphs that can be removed and replaced at will.
Requirements
Items upgrades allow players to boost the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of Best item upgrade, but you'll typically need Dilithium along with the number of Upgrade tokens.
The upgrade items can be slotted into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide added effects or a higher quality item. These upgrades can be obtained from many sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been placed into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components include additional modifiers which can further increase the stats of an item.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" For instance, increases defense base and adds an additional 20 percent chance to block. Additionally, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial for some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they achieve a perfect roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component that goes into the item. These include the type of item (either weapon or armor), the level of the item level upgrade, the upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
The game will add an item in your inventory after you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how close you are towards getting the upgrade completed. You can also track the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
