The only thing it's missing that you won't find in the pricier iRobot Roomba X30 is edge-to-edge vacuuming on bare floors. It's also less effective in mopping. It relies on disposable wet wipes that don't adhere well and aren't able to deal with dried-on debris. The Q5 comes with a self-emptying cradle however. And, if you have to, you can switch the mopping pad for dry ones in a matter of just a few seconds.

2. IRobot Roomba

The iRobot Roomba X30 is a compact, sleek vacuum cleaner that can sweep floors. Its nimble navigation and intelligent cleaning maps make it easy to clean and efficient at dealing with larger particles such as pet hair. 3. IRobot Roomba X40

With an elegant, circular design that looks more like a regular Roomba than the competitors' boxy units this mop and robot vacuum best vacuum is among the most appealing looking in our tests. The latest model from iRobot happens to be its smartest and has advanced features like enhanced dirt detection technology and future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that can autonomously wash mop pads).

It's the only robotic mop or vacuum that scored a perfect 10 in our evaluations due to a mix of high-tech sensors, which include cameras, a structured lighting system, and multiple lasers. It also has a front mounted camera for real-time hazards detection, though this wasn't 100% reliable in our tests and could be confused with obstructions or power cords.

Its vacuum cleaner has an maximum suction of 7,000 Pascals which is more than sufficient to accomplish the task.
