Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops have become more capable, acing our cleaning tests and tackling different types of floors. Look for models that let you choose from a variety of modes, and use their charging dock to self-empty, and clean up the stairs.

Many of the best models are compatible with your smartphone. Find an app that lets you save maps, schedules, and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It uses lidar to navigate, create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set up schedules and modify the behavior of the S1.

When I tried the S1 It was quick to identify the downstairs area, which has Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, along with carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It easily drove close to walls without crashing into them and even managed to cross raised room thresholds with no problem, although it sometimes had trouble navigating down stairs in a single pass. The S1 also did a great job of cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on its flat side against the floor and lifting itself when it was near carpet or carpet.

The docking station of the S1 automatically empties its dust bin and refills its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated water before each mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can be able to accommodate 12 cleaning sessions, but this will vary based on how often you use the mop.

The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like all 2-in-1 robots. For this, you'll need to clean the water tank that is dirty regularly to avoid it from clogging. You'll also need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 is easy to maintain, especially compared to other combos that require more care.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs All-in-one robotic vacuum and mop is an efficient solution to your cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum comes with 8700Pa suction power, and comes with a number innovative features including voice control and smart path scheduling that cleans furniture and avoids obstacles. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of just moving a pad across the surface. The mops are cleaned and dried at the base station, as needed.

This robot combination is simple to setup and use, with a simple interface that guides you through the procedure. It comes with a hand vacuum that recharges for those hard-to-reach areas that the robot isn't able to reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and replenished when required. It also has a number of useful settings for fine-tuning your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that easily removes most of the debris, and even tiny dust particles that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty robust, however it can sometimes get caught up on the tiny carpets or area mats that I have in my home (which is something you can control by creating a virtual boundary within the app). Its mopping is quite impressive, and comes with a pair of spin mop heads that actually lift and scrub floors instead of simply dragging the pad over it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station as required. The mops can also be filled at the top of the station when needed.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop has even more impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our list of the best robot mop vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush ensure an effective, customized cleaning is achieved.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing large and fine particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It also cleaned our tests' most soiled areas efficiently, while eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other dirt. The sweeping power of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush that automatically swings out in order to reach hard-to-reach areas, and mop pads that extend across baseboards.

Its navigation is nimble it can navigate narrow spaces and climbing stairs without missing a beat. It can go from one room to the next without needing to reverse the direction. This is useful for homes with a lot of rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than some competitors However, it tends to leave a thick space around obstacles, which could result in missed spots.

The interface of the app is easy to use and streamlined. It should be easy to use for novice and experienced users. The app lets you plan and manage cleanings, adjust suction power and mopping settings and view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri, allowing you to monitor its progress from anywhere. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely to get live video surveillance. But, you'll require a reliable Wi-Fi connection to operate it through the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 Pro

Robot vacuums are fantastic in removing dirt and debris, but they aren't able to reach every speck of dust. It's important to vacuum regularly, once a week. This is particularly important for dust that builds up in corners, on shelves and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot that was designed specifically for this purpose. It's easy to connect to your Wi-Fi at home network and works with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your cleaning routine.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, which includes the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on cost by eliminating mopping and using a lower-cost plastic body.

Even though it's not able to wipe your floors, the Q5 has some of the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen on a robot at this price. It has a powerful suction of 5500Pa, and an automatic vacuum and mop empty system that means you don't have to empty the bin manually each time. It also features a smart application that lets you choose your floor's type and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic water tank refill and wash system to allow hands-free operation.

The mops are also quite impressive with 2700Pa of power to tackle dust, dirt and pet hair on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was among the few robots we tested that did not have issues with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it did not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't a surprise as it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum cleaner best vacuum we've ever tested. It also uses a unique mapping system that lets it reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums can't. This device also stores dust in a larger bin that means you have to empty it less often. It also has washable filters which further reduces costs. The robot is able to detect carpets and increase suction when needed. The app also allows you to mark off areas you want to avoid and is a great feature.
