iRobot suggests that you clear areas that the i3+ EVO will vacuum before you use it, including getting rid of any toys or clutter it might encounter. It's also a good idea to keep the bin and filter clean so they aren't clogged by dirt. When the i3+ EVO’s internal bin is empty or the battery is low it returns to the docking station and automatically emptys the dirt into the docking station's external dustbin. Then it continues cleaning where it started. The i3+ EVO's battery lasts for about an hour and a half of continuous use, and it takes about three hours to recharge.

2. IRobot Roomba i7+

The iRobot i7+ is an excellent model from iRobot's flagship line and comes with the latest technology. It is self-charging and self-navigating. However, the most important feature is the self-emptying bin. This eliminates the need for routine maintenance.

In our tests, the i7+ was more agile and faster than our second-placed model and the eufy RoboVac G30, and it removed large chunks of pet hair from all surfaces types, including carpeting. The main advantage it has over the Eufy is the self-emptying bin that eliminates the main sources of maintenance and lowers the cost of recurring maintenance.

We were also impressed with the i7+’s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We utilized these services to instruct the robot to start or stop cleaning sessions, as well as to move around the room, and to vacuum a particular area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. Once connected, to give voice commands to the i7+ such as "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom."
