5 Arguments Item Upgrade Can Be A Beneficial Thing
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the stats of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations can be applied.
The elite racial Shield Razortail, for example, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP and/or add additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the original version that is not upgraded.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item, like armor, weapon, or ring. This allows you to swap the item for one similar one and comes with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable way to upgrade gear. However, they don't retain the quality of the original item, and any wasted resources won't be compensated for.
Survivors can obtain reroll tokens in several ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be located in crates and chests, or purchased from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attributes of a piece of equipment that could include increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can roll equipment with three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power increases the damage that weapons and melee attacks and spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give players an additional level of health.
There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a better quality. To produce them, you need an upgrade level reroll token. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces The reroll marker is left on the space until the next success result is repeated. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the beginning of every preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they show a description and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of coins.
During the course of the course of a game, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of selected Franchise Cards. This affects which blueprints the restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve armor, weapons and other items. These stones are special stones which increase the level of an item by improving its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. These stones can also be purchased by players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade gear players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click on the "level up" button. This will display a menu showing the item's current level and what it will be when being leveled up and the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.
After choosing the item to upgrade, the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he is able to hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the item's rarity the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and will not affect the item's longevity. This makes the system an excellent way for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without putting a strain on their accounts. Furthermore players can transfer experience and progress of an upgraded item onto a new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to obtain these stones, such as contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an optional feature that allows players to increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume the upgrade components and grant the item an upgrade level, giving the item upgrading a boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item upgrader mod has been reached.
Items with upgraded base stats will display a blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, cannot be added to more than one item at a time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a specific amount of items to be applied in addition to a minimum level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the left is where players can put in a piece of equipment that they wish to upgrade, and the right shows a preview of what the gear will look like once it is at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after is a player has enough resources will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the stats of the base item will be increased by an amount of. The maximum level for an item upgrading is 19.
Once an item reaches the maximum level, its upgrades are no longer available to it. When an item attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to that track will come with discounts.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons to provide an additional benefit or benefit while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained by completing quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs, which can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to increase certain stats on armor and weapons that they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the type of item but generally, you'll need Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
The items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to weapons and equipment. These will provide more effects or an improved item level. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, including crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component has been placed in an item it isn't able to be removed or replaced freely, however, the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped without limitation.
Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that could further improve the item's stats.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense, and also adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. The dps "Wildfire", however increases damage to weapons.
Certain items are better off being upgraded less because of their improved stats, but more for the fact that it lets players get the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.
The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
Once you've met the required requirements for upgrading, the game will place the item upgrading in your inventory and the progress bar will be updated to show how close you are to completing it. You can also check on the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
