Noah Pinsonnault works as a product analyst at Good Housekeeping's Home Care and Cleaning Lab.

He evaluates and tests cleaning equipment. His main focus is mopping and robot vacuum combinations. Multitaskers are an excellent choice for those looking to remove mopping from their list of tasks. They are equipped with impressive mapping capabilities and obstacles-avoiding capabilities, and some wash and refill their mopping pads for a hands-off clean.

The Eufy S1 Pro

This is the model to choose if you want an automatic vacuum cleaner (Learn Alot more) that can also mop. It's smaller than the other models on this list, which makes it easier to maneuver into tight corners and underneath furniture. It uses a 220 degree lidar which, when paired with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it some of the best robot vacuum and mop navigation and object avoidance that I've ever seen in a robot vacuum. It has a 4600mAh battery that can last up to 170 mins when mopping and sucking is set to standard mode. (It can run longer on turbo). It can even return to the dock to replenish its battery midway through a clean.

It's fast and does a fantastic job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It can vacuum carpeted rooms fast and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room and hallways in just one pass. Its suction motor of 8,000pa makes short work of picking up dirt, droppings and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it detects rugs and the dual side brush helps to remove debris from corners.

The mopping performance is less impressive, but not by much. The mop's rotating motor spins at a high speed and it pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly scraping away dirt and stains. I've also noticed that the front arms stick out a bit more than other robots, which is useful to get into tight corners and on baseboards. The same front arms can be used to clean up larger debris, like broken toys and books.

Another good thing is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mops I've ever tried. It is quieter and doesn't produce as much noise when mopping or vacuuming. The only downside is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for its mopping function and is sold separately from the vacuum. It's simple to install and performs well however, it's something you'll have to be aware of in case you're purchasing this vacuum for the sole purpose of it mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from the majority of robot vacuums which mops in its class. It comes with a wide array of features that make it a great option for homeowners looking for an extremely efficient, flexible and adaptable cleaning machine.

The device is equipped with a powerful cleaning system that incorporates LiDAR sensor technology and an RGB camera. This enables it to map out the home, find furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean efficiently and effectively. This results in an efficient, consistent clean that is also quite fast.

The Q Revo DuoRoller mop pad can reach many surfaces. This includes corners and baseboards as well as other difficult-to-access spots. The side brush can be stretched out to extend to the floor, close to walls and other fixtures. The mop pads are washable and dry to eliminate odors and stop buildup.

App-based customization is yet another noteworthy feature. The Q Revo lets you alter the suction level and select a back-and forth or slightly random pattern. You can also choose the number of passes, which will determine how quickly it can move around your home. You can also choose to turn off the side brush to avoid damaging rugs and carpets.

This device has a fairly high price tag but comes with a large selection of advanced features. It is important to keep in mind that the device will incur periodic costs in the form of mopping supplies and regular maintenance. For example brushrolls need to be replaced every six to 12 months or after 300 hours. The filter is to be cleaned every 150 hours, and mop pads must be changed every one to three month.

The robot vacuum that mops has a high rating on Amazon and includes a broad range of physical automation features. The robot vacuum also comes with an power button that doubles as the 'Clean button' as well as a 'Home button to send it home after cleaning. It also comes with a multifunctional dock that automatically emptys the trash bin, fills up its water tank, and wash and dry its mop pads.

The Shark Matrix Plus

If you're a busy professional or just want an organized home that doesn't require much time doing chores then the Shark Matrix Plus is a good option. It's a top-performing device, smart navigation, and a long battery life that allows you to keep your home tidy with minimal effort.

The Matrix Plus robot vacuum cleaners reviews vacuum is an all-in-one mop and vacuum. It is capable of mopping and vacuuming. The robot comes with two modules: a combined dry bin and reservoir of water, and a separate mopping system with microfiber pads that snap into and out of position. It's not the most modern thing to have separate modules for mopping and vacuuming but it does mean you don't have to worry about changing disposable bags or refilling the tank of water.

Our test participants found that the Matrix Plus did a great job at both vacuuming and mopping. Its greatest feature was its accurate floorplan that it uses to determine a route when cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate effortlessly through rugs, furniture and other obstacles. The app also offers the option of setting "No-Go zones" and virtual barriers, which can help to keep certain areas of your house from being cleaned with mop.

We also discovered that the Matrix Plus did surprisingly well in picking up hair of pets. It was able to collect a large amount of hair our cats shed and even got into the nooks and crannies of our stairs which other robots struggled. The noise levels of the robot were low and there were pleasant jingles to let you know that it was starting and finishing its work.

The app was too easy and you had to switch the modules each time you switched between vacuuming and mops. The app doesn't have the capacity to store multiple maps, which could be a problem when you live in a house with a mix of floors. The Matrix Plus is a good choice for people who want an intelligent robot that can do both vacuuming and mopping.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that can be found in our review, however it has some distinctive features that are worth taking into consideration. The X1 Omni's most appealing feature is its huge dock which serves as the robot's charging base and housing for two 4-liter water tanks, a sink for cleaning and the 2.5-liter dust bin that is automatically eliminates.

The base has a few control buttons, which allow you to manually start cleaning tasks or recall the robot, or run the dock's automatic emptying procedure. Hold down two buttons to turn off the child lock that is a great touch for parents worried about children playing with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums the Omni Omni uses its camera to identify furniture and obstacles in its path and eliminate them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

Unfortunately this means that the X1 Omni could occasionally get caught up in an obstruction, such as a power cord draped across a rug that it becomes stuck and ceases to function until you remove it manually. This is a rare event, but frustrating nonetheless, since the X1 does not have a "stuck status" alert in its application.

Another potential downside is one of the biggest drawbacks is X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between vacuuming and mopping modes during a cleaning session. You'll have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't a big deal apart from the fact that mopping pads haven't been cleaned and dried between uses, which can lead to mildew or mold.

On the positive side the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot vacuum cleaners uk, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who conceptualized its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad apparatus. It's a huge departure from the utilitarian all-black bases of rivals such as Roborock or iRobot. It's also a welcome sight for a market dominated by clunky boxy models.
