The only drawback to this cot is that you will need to buy a mattress separately which could make the cost rise even more than other models we've reviewed. Its stunning design, ease of assembly and ability to adapt to your baby's needs are all appealing and make it a worthwhile cost. Our testers thought this cot would make the perfect addition to any nursery.

The John Lewis elementary is a fantastic choice for parents who want a sleek frame that will last for a long time. It's a bit more expensive than some of the other options we've seen but it comes with an accompanying changing table and wardrobe, so you can kit out your nursery in one trip. Additionally, it's simple to put together and comes with 3 positions for the mattress's height so that your baby can develop into it. It has teething rails, and a drawer that slides neatly under the mattress to ensure you don't waste valuable floor space.
You'll have to purchase an additional mattress if you want to use this cot bed. So, make sure you budget your money accordingly. A good mattress can be bought for less than PS100. This is not a huge cost. The only downside is that you might have a difficult time finding an appropriate fit since the cot is an oval shape, however there are many kinds of mattresses that can work for it.
