If you're expecting twins or two children of different age groups, a double running stroller buggy can help you out and about. The best ones are simple to manoeuvre and handle rough surfaces and kerbs.

These cars also come with features such as large sun canopies and transparent hoods, and adjustable seats.

1. Baby Jogger City Tour Double

The City Tour 2 Double is the smallest double stroller in the Baby Jogger range. It was designed specifically for travel, and can fit through standard doors easily due to its slim and compact design. It's also one the lightest double buggies you can find with a weight of just 14lbs when folded. This makes it perfect to travel with a toddler and newborn as you won't be exceeding the allowances for luggage on airlines. It can also be folded up into the size of a small travel bag which means you can put it in the back of your car.

The one-handed Z-shape fold is easy and is extremely compact once you've mastered it. It can take a couple of seconds to unfold. Our tester found the auto-lock a little confusing, and because the handlebar does not lock into place when you push it and it landed on her leg when she tried to use it. The handlebar was a little on the short side, especially with a big changing bag hanging off it.

This double stroller isn't as light as other buggies. It has a full array of features and is one the most versatile double strollers available on the market. It's compatible with two carry cots (available separately), offers multiple recline positions, and a UV 50+ canopy. You can even add an additional bassinet to one or both seats, and turn it into a travel set-up.

The four tires made of rubber are great for pavements and urban terrain. However, they were not designed for off-roading. They had a hard time with long grass and gravel and there was not enough clearance between the wheel bracket and the wheel and mud sank easily. That being said our testers still enjoyed using this buggy and it did get up to some pretty dirt hills.

The seats are moulded and are extremely comfortable. They're also adjustable so they can be placed to meet siblings' needs. iCandy have introduced the first ever "cinema" seating concept that allows parents to keep eye contact with their children. They can also be adjusted to face either parent or towards the world.

It's a heavier tandem buggy, but it's very easy to use and steer, especially on smooth pavements. It's stable in double and single mode, and can be used on sloping ground. It's not as simple to use on public transport because it requires two hands to hold the handlebar. It's also heavy and won't fit in a standard car boot with the seat attached, but this can be overcome with careful planning. iCandy has included an infant footmuff, a changing bag and car seat adapters included in the price so this is an excellent value for new parents.

Its sleek frame and small dimensions make it perfect for shopping malls and narrow city streets. Its swivel front wheel and four-wheel suspension allow it to cope with slightly rough or uneven terrain.

It features a one-click secure fold and can be used with a wide range of Joie infant car seat. It also comes with a large basket and comfortable seats for both kids. They were also amazed by the fact that both seats recline independently, meaning they can be adjusted ready to grow double stroller meet the individual's needs. This is ideal for napping.

The hoods were also easy to adjust for wind or sun protection. Our testers did find, however, that they didn't provide the same amount of coverage when compared to similar to the Baby Jogger City Mini hoods and it's worth packing a rain cover to be prepared in the event of.

Overall, our testers were impressed with the Nipper double's ability to let them take their twin buggy from birth (visit my web page) daughters Sydney and Lyla to all sorts of adventures. From seeing wildlife in the forest to rushing to a park for a playdate They loved it. The testers were also impressed by how comfortable and spacious the two seats are. There's plenty of room to stretch out for growing toddlers. Our testers did note, however, that the lack of a parent-facing seating and the inability of using car seats in the buggy was a disadvantage and they would like to see more storage space for shopping and other equipment.
