World of Warcraft - Item Upgrade

The feature of upgrading items allows players to boost the item level for weapons that can be equipped or armor. This boosts the power of the equipment, and also sometimes adding buffs or the rerolling of an affix.

It is important to keep in mind that while you can upgrade your magic and common equipment, it's usually not worth it. Rare and unique gear will quickly surpass the standard equipment and upgraded magic.

Cost

The player must spend gold to upgrade an item. The cost to upgrade an item is based on the current level of the item and the type of upgrade. Upgrades to weapons are typically cheaper than upgrades for armor, since weapons have lower requirements. The amount of Gold required increases when the item is upgraded to an upper level.

The upgraded items will also have enhanced stats that can boost its performance in a variety of ways. This includes increasing the power of its attack and critical strike chance or damage per second. Additionally an upgraded Best item upgrader might be able to give additional buffs to the unit it is equipped with. These upgrades can be used to boost the overall strength of a group or a single unit, and could be a major influence on the gameplay.

The NPC for upgrading items can be located in the game. These NPCs are located in major questing areas or capital cities. Players can also find upgraders when they visit dungeons with high-level bosses, or by chatting with NPCs in their garrisons of their faction.

The World of Warcraft item upgrade system allows players to increase the level of armor, weapons and trinkets. The process is similar to the process used for gear reforging in Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor however, instead of using the currency that is appropriate players need to visit an item upgrader NPC to complete the process.

Item upgrades can be costly, particularly when it is related to armor and weapons. Depending on which upgrade track you select, each item level increase will cost Valorstones or Crests. The total costs can be very prohibitive for players who do not have the funds or are unwilling to grind them.

Fortunately the game lets players reroll an upgraded item with an exclusive tool within the menu of items. This option lets you exchange the upgraded item for the level 1 version of it with an additional set of bonus effects. This can be useful to get better scores on items that are already upgraded, but could be a waste of money.

Requirements

The process of upgrading items that are equippable such as weapons, armor and trinkets is to raise the item level upgrade level. This can increase their effectiveness which makes them more powerful in battle. Players can upgrade their gear by paying the appropriate currency at an NPC that sells upgraders for items. Players must be aware of the fact that some upgrades require special requirements.

The first upgrades increase the stats of the item's base by one level, but later upgrades offer more substantial boosts. For example, upgrading a weapon from three to level six can increase the weapon's damage by two levels. A bonus stat will also be added to the upgraded item based on the level. This bonus is a combination of a guaranteed additional substat and a random statistic that can change in value from upgrade to upgrade.

Reroll Tokens can be used to reroll an item that has been upgraded. The new item will feature an additional set of bonuses and a lower level of base item. The rerolled item will have different requirements for strength and dexterity. It is important to note that the rerolled item does not keep its original strength or any of its wasted resources.

Rerolling some upgraded items is only possible if the item that was upgraded was Epic Rare, Rare, or Unique. Some exceptional items are also eligible for rerolling, but their original stats will be replaced with an uninvolved bonus. This means that rerolling an item that is Rare item will result in a normal version of the same kind, while rerolling an Epic item will result in an elite version of the same kind.

An upgraded item might come with additional modifiers, which could further boost its stats and enhance its performance. These additional modifiers don't come with the upgrade cost. They can be obtained through the questing process, purchasing them from the Trading Post or from other players. They can be earned through fulfilling specific missions in the game.

To upgrade an item of equipment, you must visit the NPC [Armoror Boboko located in Central Flarine. You will require Power Dices depending on the item. (Dice 6 are dropped by monsters 21+, Giants and Bosses; Dice 12 from Bosses). You will also require various quantities of Minerals and Erons.

Time

Item upgrades are a way to boost your gear and ship stats without needing to level them up. Upgrades aren't cheap but they can be an effective way to increase your stats and not have to spend so much time in battle. However, it's important to know the cost and benefits of upgrades to your item before you invest your money or time.

Each upgrade increases the stats of the item's base by in a specific amount, and gives the chance to obtain an additional substat. The random substat can range from a small boost to a much larger boost. It is recommended to concentrate on the Best item upgrader-in-slot items first, as they'll provide a greater return for your investment.

You can view the amount of time needed to complete an upgrade when you open your inventory and select an item such as a ship, weapon or other accessory. The upgrade window will display the expected completion time and progress. In certain situations, you might be able to speed up the process of upgrading by using a Glyph.

It is also possible to salvage any or all of the upgrade components from an item by using a specific high-end salvage kit that is sold by Black Lion Salvage and Ascended Salvage. However, this doesn't include legendary equipment or upgrades which can be retrieved using an Upgrade Extractor, or by reclaiming them with the corresponding Karma Merchant.

Rewards

The upgrading of items rewards players with currency and a variety of items. In addition, every upgrade is able to grant a random extra stat bonus. The amount of bonus value differs between upgrades and is typically higher for rare items. The players can perform a Great Vault search to see whether an item can be upgraded prior to spending tickets. The search can also determine if the item is of an appropriate tier and whether the player could benefit from a particular upgrade.

During the process of upgrading, an item will gradually grow closer to the next level, but it's not always able to reach a fully upgraded bar. The process will consume Growthstones and Sollant, but there is the chance to obtain an upgraded item in only one cycle of growth. The higher the level an item attains the more stat value will be, and the more items that can be upgraded.

Upgrade components can be slotted into armor, weapons, and trinkets to give an attribute bonus or extra effect while the equipment is in use. Some upgrade components also have cosmetic effects. Upgrade components are available through crafting, purchasing from vendors or the Trading Post, looting or receiving them as gifts. Players can also retrieve upgraded items by using an Upgrade extractor, or salvage with a high-tier salvage kit. Glyphs placed on gathering tools can be swapped freely.

By selecting the item and pressing the green button that has a rerolling arrow the player can reroll it into another upgradeable item upgrading. This will change the layout of the game and allow players to select up to six items to be used for "recycling". The item upgrader Mod will be replaced by an item of level 1. Recycled items will not keep their current level or amount of resources needed to upgrade them.

An item's maximum upgrade level is determined by its quality and tier. Rare items can be upgraded to a maximum of level six, while Rare and Epic items can be upgraded up to level nine. The upgrades to an item are added to the item's base statistics which means that they won't increase after a certain amount.
