Upgrades can boost the stats of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations that are applied.
For instance, the premium shield for racial discrimination Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradable over the original version that is not upgraded.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens let you reroll a purchased item, like armor, weapon, or ring. This replaces the item with another of the same kind however with different benefits. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the quality of the original item, and any wasted resources will not be refunded.
The surviving players can acquire reroll tokens in several ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in crates and chests or bought from the market at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of an item of equipment for example, increasing its damage.
Players can roll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Physical power increases the damage that weapons and melee attacks, while spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.
