The Best robot vacuum cleaner UK Robot Vacuum That Mops

Noah Pinsonnault works as a product analyst at Good Housekeeping's Home Care and Cleaning Lab.

He tests and evaluates cleaning equipment. His main focus is mopping robots and vacuum combinations. These multitaskers are an excellent option for those looking to cross mopping off the to-do list. They have impressive mapping and obstacles-avoiding capabilities, and they can even wash and refill their mopping pads to ensure a hands-free clean.

The Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a best robotic mop and vacuum vacuum that also mop, this is the model to look for. It's smaller than other models on this list, making it easier to maneuver through tight corners and under furniture. It comes with a 220 degree Lidar that, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, offers some of my favorite navigation and object avoidance features I've seen in the form of a robotic vacuum. It has a hefty 4600mAh battery that lasts for up to 170-minutes when mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it is able to run longer in turbo). It can even return to its dock to replenish its battery during the cleaning.

It's quick and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It can vacuum carpeted rooms fast, and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room and hallways with only one pass. Its suction motor of 8,000pa makes short work of picking up dirt, droppings and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it detects rugs, and the dual side brush assists in removing debris from corners.

The mopping performance is a little less impressive, though not by a lot. The mop rotates quickly and utilizes 2.2lbs to clean dirt and stain. I've noticed that the front arm protrudes out a little more than other robots. This is useful when getting into narrow corners or on baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to clean up larger debris, like broken toys or books.

Another nice feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mop I've ever used. It is quieter and doesn't produce as much noise when vacuuming or mopping. The only downside is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for mopping, and is separate from the vacuum. It is simple to install, and it works well. However, if you are buying this best robot vacuum cleaner and mop vacuum solely for mopping purposes, you will need to pay attention to this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from most robot vacuums that mops in its class. It has a robust suite of features that make it a great choice for homeowners looking to purchase a highly effective, versatile and ad-hoc cleaning machine.

The device comes with an efficient cleaning system that incorporates LiDAR sensor technology and an RGB camera. This allows it to map out the home and also detect furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean intelligently and effectively. This ensures a thorough and consistent clean and is also fast.

The Q Revo DuoRoller mop pad can reach a variety of surfaces. This includes corners, baseboards and other hard to reach areas. They also have a flexible side brush that can extend to the floor in close proximity to walls and other fixtures. In addition, the mop pads can be dried and washed to prevent the build-up of dust and reduce the smell.

Another notable feature is the customization options that are available through apps. The Q Revo allows you to alter the intensity of its suction and select between a back-and-forth or slightly more random patterns. You can also choose the number of passes which will determine the speed at which it can move around your home. You can also decide to disable the side brush to prevent damaging carpets and rugs.

The device has a high price tag but comes with a large selection of advanced features. It is important to note that the device will incur recurring expenses in the form mopping equipment and regular maintenance. For example, a brushroll needs to be replaced every six to twelve months or after 300 hours. The filter is to be cleaned every 150 hours, and mop pads must be changed every three months.

This robot vacuum mop is a top Amazon rating and includes an array of physical automation features. The vacuum also has an power button that doubles as a 'Clean' button' and a 'Home button to send it back home after cleaning. It also comes with a multi-functional dock that automatically empty the dustbin and refills its water tank for mopping and washes and dries its mop pads.

The Shark Matrix Plus

If you're a professional with a lot of work or someone who just wants to have a clean home without spending much time doing chores The Shark Matrix Plus is a good option. Its incredibly fast performance, sophisticated navigation, and long battery life make it easy to maintain a clean home with little effort.

The Matrix Plus robot Vacuums That mop vacuum is an all-in-one mop and vacuum. It is able to perform mopping and vacuuming. It has two modules: a combined dry bin and water reservoir and a separate mopping unit with microfiber pads that snap into and out of position. Separate modules for mopping and vacuuming may seem a bit old-fashioned, but they do mean that you don't need to worry about changing bags for disposables or refilling the water tank.

The Matrix Plus performed well at both vacuuming and mopping. Its greatest feature is its precise floorplan map, which it uses when cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate through rugs, furniture and other obstacles. The app lets you create 'No-Go Zones' or virtual barriers to stop certain areas from being cleaned by mop.

The Matrix Plus also did a amazing job of collecting pet hair. It was able to collect an enormous amount of hair our cats shed and even found its way into the nooks and crannies of our stairs while other robots struggled. Its noise levels were fairly low, and there were some nice jingles to let you know that it was in the process of working towards its goal.

The biggest flaws were its simple app and the necessity to switch out the modules when switching between vacuuming and mopping. The app cannot store multiple maps. This can be an issue if your house has several floors. The Matrix Plus robot is a great choice for those who want a smart device that can vacuum and mop.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive of our review. It does however, have distinct features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni's main draw is its huge dock, which serves as the robot's charging base and the housing for two water tanks, a cleaning sink and the 2.5-liter dust bin that is automatically eliminates.

The base has several control buttons that allow you to manually begin a cleaning task, recall the robot or use the dock's auto-emptying procedure. Hold down two buttons to switch off the child lock. This is a great feature for parents who are worried about their children playing with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums, the X1 Omni uses its camera to spot furniture and obstacles in its path and eliminate them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system will map your home 10 times faster than conventional laser detection systems and is four times more accurate at recognising objects.

Unfortunately, this means that the X1 Omni will occasionally become so entangled with obstacles, like the power cord that is draped across a rug that it becomes stuck and ceases to function until you free it. Although this is not a common occurrence however, it was a gruelling experience when it did happen particularly since the X1 Omni doesn't come with a "stuck" status alert on its app.

Another possible issue is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically change between vacuuming and mopping modes during the cleaning process. You'll need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad however, the mopping pad doesn't get cleaned or dried between use. This could lead to mildew and mold.

On the positive side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot vacuum with mop thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who conceptualized its modern, sleek base and mopping pad apparatus. It's a significant change from the utilitarian black bases of competitors like Roborock and iRobot and a pleasing sight in a space that is dominated by clunky boxes and clunky models.
