The iCandy Orange double buggies are one of the most popular available. This is due to their outstanding comfort. It's a true all terrain pushchair, with a soft suspension that makes light work of bumpy surfaces. It can be used in 30 seating configurations and includes an integrated ride-on board that can be used for older children who prefer walking and a 'cinema seating' mode that raises the back seat for better visibility.

The phil&teds dot is a great single buggy from day 1 which is then able to take 2 (or 3!) in a variety of configurations. This is especially useful when you have a child in a car. Suspension

The suspension of a triple wheeled buggy will determine how easily you and your child/children can push it. A smooth ride is crucial as babies can feel every bump in the road, particularly if it's in rough terrain such as grass or unpaved paths. Some models also come with locking front wheels to help in maneuvering and navigating obstacles like curbs.

Certain models have air-filled tyres that provide a fantastic all-terrain experience, but they can be prone to punctures, therefore, make sure you have a spare set in the trunk. Others have foam or gel tyres that are designed to withstand bumps and can be less susceptible to punctures, but you might find them a little stiff and uncomfortable on your child's back if you decide to run.

Folding

A three-wheel double buggy could be folded up in a neat manner for storage.
