Lightest Double Stroller

When looking for a light double stroller, weight and folded size are the most important aspects to consider. Picking one that is easy to maneuver and compact when not when not in use makes it much easier to fit in the trunk of your car and maneuver through airport gates and foreign streets.

The most lightweight strollers have a simple, intuitive fold that allows them to stand up on their own. This helps reduce stress on the body of the parent. A few also come with a broad selection of seating options and can accommodate infant car seat carriers.

Kolcraft Cloud Plus

The design is geared towards families on moving. Lightweight and easy to carry in one hand compact fold. All-terrain wheels and front suspension as well as a multi-position reclining seats can allow children to weigh up to 50 lbs. Trays for both children and parents, large storage basket and 3-tier extended canopy with the ability to peek through the window for maximum sun protection.

The Cloud has one of the lowest scores on our tests of quality due to its flimsy design with hard plastic seats, and a design that feels outdated. It's also more expensive than other strollers that are lighter and is therefore not the best choice when you're looking for an economical alternative.

It's not the tiniest stroller, but it comes with enough features to make it worth a look. Its swiveling wheels make easy to move it around flat surfaces. It can also leap over curbs without much effort. The Cloud's low handle is a problem, however; it's nearly at knee height, and not adjustable. It's not a comfortable thing to push your legs dangling in the air like that, and it doesn't help that it's not cushioned.

In our tests, we discovered that the Cloud was easy to set up and open. It's a bit more complicated to close the cloud, however. You have to slide a slider and then press a large white button to get it to collapse. This can be a hassle when you're trying to keep your children entertained while doing it.

The Cloud has a small, but deep storage basket that can accommodate a medium-sized diaper bag. The basket is narrow, and you may need to store something inside to reach the back. The Cloud comes with an adult and child tray with two cup holders each however they're too narrow to hold larger cups or bottles.

Kolcraft is a family-owned business which has been in operation since 1946. The first products they made were crib pads and diapers however, they now make various baby items including highchairs and strollers, infant car seats and toys. The company is based in Chicago and is an American manufacturer.

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS

Jeep Destination Ultralight is a lightweight double stroller with a minimalist design, which is ideal for travel. It weighs only 18 lbs and is lighter than some single strollers. It folds flat to make it easy to carry and store. It also comes with independently reclined seats and large all-weather SPF50 sun visors that have windows that peek out and extra-large under-seat storage bags. The visors can be adjusted to accommodate kids of different heights. Additionally, it comes with an integrated one-step parking brake and is Disney-size approved.

The swivel wheels on the Jeep are also fantastic to maneuver over bumps and uneven surfaces. This stroller does not accept car seats. Your child must be at least six months old and possess an excellent neck control in order to use the front seat. It does have an attractive, three-panel sun canopy, though each seat comes with its own snack tray as well as parent cupholders.

Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend is a different incredibly light twin stroller side by side that can be used side by side. It's heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus, at 23 pounds. However, it's smaller and slimmer (26.5 inches wide!) It has a lot of luxurious details that make it perfect for travel. It's a simple fold, is very movable and fits into trunks and overhead compartments of airplanes easily.

Like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double and Mountain Buggy Nano Duo, the Joovy Kooper X2 is another tri-fold, ultralight double stroller. It's quite similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS, however, it has some distinct differences. It's also a bit more expensive, but it offers better maneuverability and has an extra sun canopy. It also comes with a handy carry strap and can hold kids up to 44 lbs per seat.

Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+

Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is a lightweight stroller with lots of features. It is not only incredibly lightweight at just 13 lbs but also has plenty of storage space, including cupholders for both parents and children, a child's sippy-cup pouch, a parent's storage pocket and so on. It can also be used with the car seat of your child and has an easy-to-engage brake that flips. This stroller is designed to grow as your child grows. It can be converted from a baby stroller to a toddler stroller simply by attaching the car-seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children aged 6 months and up.

Another thing to consider about this stroller is that it only operates on swivel wheels, and doesn't have any locking options, so it might not be the best twin buggy option for terrain that is rocky or hilly. It's still a good choice for families with children, since it is able to be easily maneuvered on paved surfaces and other smooth surfaces.

This stroller is among the most lightweight double strollers with full-size features in a sleek compact design. It folds easily in one hand and stored in the garage or trunk. It can also be used as a travel stoller, and is compatible without additional adapters to most car seats.

The Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is different from most strollers for travel because it features two separate seats that can each hold up to 100 pounds. The seats come with individual leg rests and 3-panel canopy that has flip-out sunvisors and peekaboo window.

The seats are cushioned for your infant's comfort. They have a 5-point padded safety harness that can be adjusted to three height positions. Each seat comes with an infant cushion that is ideal for infants. Parents will love the cup holders for parents and children, along with the child's cup holders, a cell phone holder, as well as a large storage basket. The twin stroller is also available with the Yoyo+ Board which transforms it into a tandem.

Joovy X2 Kooper

The Kooper X2 is an excellent choice for parents who want a lightweight double stroller (my explanation) that can hold two children. The sling-style seats are comfortable and offer a similar amount of headroom. It also allows children to be seated together. Contrary to other strollers with side-by-side seating that are available, the Kooper X2 offers a fully reclined seat that's ideal for napping. The recline feature is simple to use, however it's not really flat. Taller children may have a leg hanging when in reclined mode. It also has a huge canopy that we found to be more effective in blocking out sun than other options in our evaluation of the top double strollers.

The stroller is light enough to be able to maneuver through door frames. This was an important issue with other strollers we have tested. It folds easily and the handlebars are close to the ground. The only drawback is its relatively small storage space, which can feel cramped when full of kid stuff.

Joovy is a family-owned company that makes unique functional, durable and high-quality baby products. Their range of products includes innovative baby bottles, such as the Joovy Zoom X2 Double stroller and an innovative raincover that fits many popular strollers. The bottles are reasonably priced and often come with fun designs that appeal to kids.

In our lab tests of double strollers, we look at several factors to determine how simple an item is to use, including how easy it is to set up and fold, adjust the safety harness, close and open the brakes, raise and carry the stroller like you would put it in a trunk of a car, and then install and remove an infant car seat (if appropriate). We also evaluated the durability and strength of each model, and whether it comes with a tray for parents that can hold both children trays.

The Joovy Kooper X2 received the highest score in our Strollers Test Program for its ease of use. It also got the top rating in our updated guide to the best twin stroller double strollers. Its easy-to use design includes one-hand, no tilt recline, as well as an enormous canopy with ventilation mesh that is visible even when it's tilted. There are also individual kid trays, built-in cupholders and zipper pockets for parents and a large storage basket.
