WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you boosts in specific stats. Each upgrade increases item level by 3. Each upgrade also boosts the random substatus.

Upgraded gear generally sees higher trade value as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or has a high stat variance (like Eth titan weapons). The latter see less value from upgrading due to the need to roll for a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader mod upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by transferring the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be made on any kind of armor or weapons. However, the item used for the upgrade will remain in use for a long time and can't be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enhancements.

You can upgrade item your gear anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear current, it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every several weeks.

Upgrades can cost more based on the level of the item but they will always be less expensive than purchasing new equipment. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest up to ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. If you purchase a similar item, it will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase tools, armor, weapon, and accessory upgrades. They are purchased by players from item upgrader NPCs in exchange for a variety of currencies, and can also be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be used on any weapon, tool, or armor. The button will display the preview of an item's next level of upgrade, in the event that there are enough materials.

Upgrade costs differ based on the slot of the item and the current level of the item. For example, weapons will cost more than gloves, bracers or bracers. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones and a variety of crests, with certain upgrades having a discount to reduce the cost of Flightstones or crests used. Once an item is upgraded to a certain amount, it can be downgraded and sold to the upgrader for a lower price.

Many locations have upgraders for their items, including the main Island and a few outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade coupon and a possibility of obtaining the latest recipe. The discount for upgrades increases according to the number of items that are being upgraded, and can be increased by having players complete some specific achievements or complete quests.

Icewind Dale does not have an item upgrade level upgrade (navigate to this site) upgrader at the start, unlike Cromwell from Baldur's Gate II. Instead, the NPCs that are available to facilitate upgrades are acquired via various methods that are both an improvement and a drawback.

In Season 3 the upgrade system was modified a bit, and some new features added. After a player has earned an upgrade to a certain level for an item in an armor slot, upgrading other items to that level will cost less, even when they are part of another set of gear.

The amount of Valorstones needed to upgrade is reduced and the discount is affixed to all accounts. In the same way, the amount of Harbinger Crests needed to upgrade is also reduced and is not available until players have reached certain milestones in their achievements.

Crests

When upgrading gear in WoW, players have a few choices. Flightstones are an item upgrader mod that is available to everyone who wants to upgrade. Crests are more specific, and are used during specific item level upgrades. Crests are a crucial part of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System introduced in version 10.1. They are available in four ranks.

The first thing to remember is that crests can only be used on equipment that is of a particular rank, and every rank has different requirements for its upgrade path. The simplest and most straightforward upgrade path costs 15 crests, while the most complex can require as much as 20 crests, based on the type of gear being upgraded.

Players can earn crests through completing tasks at the appropriate level. This could mean doing outdoor activities or taking on dungeons and raids of all difficulty levels to obtain lower-level gear or Mythicbosses for raids, or dungeons with heroic difficulty for endgame gear. Crests can be exchanged at an item upgrader NPC, like Cuzolth in Dornogal or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to obtain the appropriate upgrade paths and steps.

Using these new currencies isn't too difficult however, the system introduces some modifications to the upgrade process. For instance, once a piece of equipment reaches the highest level of upgrading for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic) it won't require Flightstones to be upgraded. This allows players to upgrade their gear to the highest level possible on all their characters rather than relying on seasonal loot.

It's also essential to use crests with care, since they only have one use. For instance it's a good idea to use all of your Whelpling-rank crests on the top gear you have available and then keep Drake and Wyrm crests to use for the next set of upgrades you're planning to make. This is particularly true for items such as rings and trinkets that occupy several slots. The discount on the account is only applicable when all slots on the character are filled with top-quality equipment.
