best 3 wheel stroller 3 Wheel Pushchairs

All-terrain pushchair with lightweight 3 wheel stroller durability and excellent maneuverability. Its one-hand fold is compact, which means it's easy to move and freestanding when folded. The padded seat reclines into a nearly flat position, and there's a large storage bin and canopy. Newborn suitability: Yes it comes with a carrycot (not suitable for sleeping overnight).

A good suspension and air-filled tires can help you navigate through rough terrain. It's also suitable for jogging, but you should wait until your baby is six or nine months old for this.

Ickle Bubba Air

This pushchair from Ickle Bubba is an excellent choice for parents who want lightweight strollers with added features. This travel system includes an adjustable carrycot that can be folded flat for babies and an adjustable forward and rear facing seat for a pushchair.

The XL Air is a very impressive buggy. It's easy to see why it's earned praise from customers. It's incredibly light - both the chassis and wheels weigh just 6.5kg - and it's also super-easy to build. In fact, I was able to put it up and running in just five minutes, which is amazing considering that it also included the tying of the fabric to the carrycot!

The seat is spacious and comfortable for Annie who is just 12 months old. The recline lever was easy to operate. The basket is spacious with plenty of room and I am impressed that the handle bar features pockets to keep your keys and phone secure.

The handlebar is low, which may be an issue for parents who are taller. It's covered with soft, supple leather-like material, and is easy to wipe down.

Hauck Pushchair Runner

The Runner is designed for athletic parents who are eager to go out and explore. Its large pneumatic wheels are designed to be used on field and forest trails, and the front lightest 3 wheel stroller can be rotated and locked for additional versatility. It also comes with a cushioned 5-point safety harness as well as a front bar to ensure your child is safe throughout your journey and the parking brake is able to stop the stroller from moving when you take a break. The comfortable seat is easy to lower to a lying position and the canopy opens up with netting to ensure maximum air circulation during hot days. The handle can be height-adjusted by more than 30 centimeters to accommodate dad's or mom's heights.

If you're planning a quick jog or a longer hike The Runner is ready to accompany you on your journeys with a comfortable, flat lie-flat seat and suspension air wheels that guarantee an unhurried ride. The front wheel is lockable to provide more stability on narrow streets and congested sidewalks and the stroller folds easily to fit in car boots and storage spaces.

The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to navigate for some parents than its predecessor. Also the locking system (requiring two buttons on either on either side of the handlebar) is less user-friendly. The handlebars are higher than some competitors, and therefore may not be suitable for smaller parents. However the stroller is durable and versatile, and is worth considering by active families.

Red Kite Push Me Pace

Red Kite's Pace is a fantastic product from the budget-friendly British brand. They are known for their simple, well-designed products that are essential for parents. It's the latest - and priciest - addition to their bargain lightweight stroller collection. It's also, like the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo is car seat compatible so that you can use it from the beginning (the carrycot folds away).

The new Pace comes with some amazing design features such as rose-gold hues on the hood, chassis, and stroller trims that really set it apart. The car seat and stroller fabrics are fashionable in grey, tan, and cream. You can also choose to add a leather handle and bumper bar to match.

The stroller seat can be used from birth to a maximum weight of 22kg. It easily converts to a two-in-one reversible position, either parent-facing or world-facing. The stroller seat comes with multiple lie-back positions, soft padded legs rests, and an extended sun canopy with zip-off sections that are concealed with a view-through flap, and a retractable visor.

What's more, when it's folded, the Pace measures 56 x 43 x 32cm which is enough to qualify as hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair, among other airlines. It's also easy to fold down, using two buttons on either side of the handlebar which just click in and out. Then, it will pop up.

Bugaboo Fox 5

The idea behind it is to create the ultimate all-terrain pushchair Bugaboo's latest Fox 5 promises to do it all. Its unique chassis, which has a shorter 3 wheel running stroller-distance, makes it more mobile than its predecessor. I tried it out alongside my two kids - a toddler and an eight-week-old - on rough terrain as well as woodland walks that are grassy and even cobblestones.

The large, puncture-proof wheels - 22cm or 30cm in diameter - can handle a variety of terrains. They also have a handy flap that opens or closes to let more air in when you require it, which is a nice feature. It's a bit bigger than most pushchairs, but it isn't heavy or bulky when you push it over bumpy surfaces.

The fabric of the seat is machine washable, and the frame and faux leather grips are easy to clean. It's also much quieter than other 3 wheeler pushchairs, and I felt safe using it on busy city streets. A bonus feature is that it has integrated accessory points, which means you can put in footmuffs, parasols, changing bags and even a snack tray. The hood can be used to block out rain and wind, but it's not waterproof. The single pram is able to be fitted with the Comfort Wheeled board (not included) which allows your child more leg room. The bassinet took 20 minutes to set up and a similar time to convert it into a seat.

UPPAbaby Ridge

No matter if you prefer running in the morning cool air or a stroll under the stars, the UPPAbaby Ridge makes every moment a shared adventure. This all-terrain jogging stroller has been optimized for performance to keep your child and you both active.

The large, foam-filled 12" and 16 "tires give you a smooth ride no matter the terrain. The suspension system is patented and allows you to glide effortlessly on woodland paths while minimizing the impact on your child's legs and rear. The performance disc handbrake lets you stop quickly even while running on an uphill slope.

From bustling market stalls to street musicians playing a tune The Ridge can navigate all your most loved city scenes with ease. Its large basket is big enough to hold your finds from the market and all the essentials for your baby, while the roomy canopy provides sun and wind protection. The canopy on the front can be unzipped to reveal two mesh peekaboos that allow you to watch your baby.

The Ridge's reversible seating lets you choose whether your child is facing you, or the world ahead. The simple foot brake system makes it intuitive for parents who are just starting out. A great feature is the reversible handlebar, which allows you to adjust it to your height and preferences. And unlike other strollers that jog, the Ridge's fold is stable and stays upright when folded.

iCandy Core

The new iCandy pushchair is packed with features that will be awe-inspiring to parents. It comes with a Multi-Mode Wheelbase and a pioneering LED Visibility Hub Light that's an industry first. It also has an integrated Ride-on Board, which saves on future costs and makes it easy for a tired toddler to accompany your family on outings.

The Core can be bought in a single unit or as a complete travel system. it works with most popular car seats from brands like Cybex, Maxi Cosi and Joie. It also comes with the largest seat unit in the iCandy range, so it will last you through your baby's early years and beyond. It's a beautifully designed pushchair that features premium knitted fabrics. The parent's adjustable handlebar and child's bumper bar that can be detached are made of soft leatherette. The folded calf support can be very comfortable for children.

I was awed by the ease of fold and collapse. It only takes one hand, even with the seat unit attached. It can easily fit in your boot or hallway and is ideal for travel. The iCandy Core comes with lots of extra accessories, including a colour matching changing rucksack and a footmuff/liner.
