WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases item upgrading level by +3. A random substat is also boosted alongside each upgrade.

Upgraded gear is generally more useful, unless the item has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like Eth Titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the need to roll for a perfect model.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher item level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any type of weapon or armor. However, the item level upgrade item - Blake-gentry.hubstack.net, that is used for the upgrade will remain in use for a long time and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can be used to create Enchantments.

You can upgrade your gear anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader every few weeks, to ensure that your equipment is up to date.

Upgrades can cost more based on the level of the item but they will always be cheaper than buying new equipment. For example, upgrading a chest piece from Benthic to 385 levels will cost 20 recycle points purchasing a similar piece from another player will costs 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade weapons, armor, tools, and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased by players through NPCs who sell upgrades to item upgrade owners for various currencies. They can also find them in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased, it can be applied to any weapon or tool with an The button will show the item's next upgrade level in the event that there are enough materials.

Upgrade costs differ based on the slot for the item and the current level of the item. For example, weapons will cost more than bracers, or gloves. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones plus a certain number of crests. Some upgrades give discounts on Flightstones. After an item has been upgraded to a certain level it is able to be degraded and returned to the upgrader for a lower amount of the two currencies.

Upgraders for items are available in many places including the main island, as well as a few outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade discount and the chance to acquire a new upgrade item recipe. The discount on upgrades increases according to the number of items being upgraded, and can be increased by requiring players to complete specific achievements or complete quests.

Unlike Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II there is no upgrader for items available in the beginning of Icewind Dale. Instead, the NPCs that are available to facilitate upgrades are acquired via several methods, which is both an improvement as well as a disadvantage.

In Season 3 the upgrade system has been modified a bit, and several new features added. After a player has earned an upgrade to a specific item level for a particular armor slot, upgrading other items to that same item level will be less expensive, even in the event that they are part of an entirely different set of gear.

The discount is applicable to all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests needed to upgrade is cut also, but is only available after certain milestones are reached.

Crests

When upgrading gear in WoW players have a couple of options. Flightstones are an option that is accessible to all players for upgrading. Crests are more specialized, and are used during specific item level upgrades. Crests are a crucial part of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System introduced in version 10.1. They come in four ranks.

First, you should know that crests are only available for equipment that is of a certain rank. Each rank comes with an upgrade path that is different. The simplest and simplest upgrade process costs just 15 crests while the most complicated requires as many as 20 crests based on the type of equipment being upgraded.

Players can earn crests by completing content of the appropriate level, whether that involves walking around and engaging in outdoor activities for gear of lower tiers, raids or dungeons with all difficulties for higher-tier items or Mythic+ heroic raid bosses and dungeons for endgame gear. The crests can later be exchanged at an item upgrader NPC like Cuzolth in Dornogal, or Vaskarn in Valdrakken, for the appropriate upgrade pathways and steps.

The new currency system isn't too difficult to use, but it brings some modifications to the upgrade process. For example, once a piece of equipment reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic), it won't need Flightstones to be upgraded. This change is intended to allow players to get their gear up to the highest level possible for all their characters instead of relying only on seasonal loot.

It's also essential to use crests in a wise manner, as they are only used for one purpose. It is recommended to use your Whelpling-rank Crests on the highest-quality gear you can locate, and save Drake and Wyrm Crests to be used for the next set of upgrades. This is particularly relevant for rings and trinkets that fill multiple slots on the character, which can only be eligible to take advantage of the account-wide discount when all slots are full of high-quality gear.
