World of Warcraft - item upgrader mod Upgrading

Item upgrading allows players to increase an item upgrade's gear score up to 700, and then add an additional perk. Items can be upgraded by keeping them in inventory and heading to the kiln.

Certain items are worth upgrading due to their distinctive stats. (For instance an excellently broken point armor that is rolled can be used in melee PvP). Other items, like weapons aren't changed much after an upgrade and therefore aren't worth it.

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons can improve their numerical stats, like attack damage, crit chance, and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons also have a flat bonus that increases their damage per second. Additionally, many weapons have a set bonus that activates when three or more of the same weapon is present on a unit. This bonus may be more than the damage that a weapon upgrade alone can cause.

The cost of upgrading a weapon is based on the rarity of the weapon and its current level. For example the weapon with a +2 rating will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while an upgrade of +3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade a gun will increase until it needs a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point, it will reset back to one.

Upgrades to weapons also alter the stats of the base. This is usually a good aspect, but it may also have negative consequences. For items that are only used in a certain build (Whistant's shield for FB sorcs for instance) upgrading them can render them unusable unless you get a fortunate roll.

Armor items can be upgraded to boost their stats. This will increase the defense base of a helm or chest as well as belts and gloves. These can boost their strength and agility. Armor also has an option to reroll its Enhanced Defense percent, which means that it may change its roll to a lower value.

The upgrade template for a weapon will display the new stats that it will gain upon upgrading in addition to their respective values. This means that an upgrade from a sword that has 8 damage to an 11-attack-damage sword will result in a weapon gaining 33% attack damage. The 3% does not mean that the weapon will be hit 3 times less, as it is an absolute number.

A weapon can also be rerolled using the green button that has circling arrows in the menu for items. The Best item upgrader will be rerolled and alter its stats, but it will not reset the weapon's levels, or connect it to an account's status.

Armor

Adding a few upgrades to your armor can make a huge differences in your ability to survive. Certain sets offer massive increases in resistance to curses, poisons and fire as well as magic. This can make it easier to navigate difficult areas. In general, the more defense you have for your character, the greater health you can receive from each point. Therefore, it's a good idea to upgrade your armor.

You can upgrade your armor by visiting one of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four of them each of which requires you to complete a unique side quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. Once you've completed the main quest, and the corresponding fountains, you'll have the option of talking to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the menu for upgrading armor.

The amount of materials required to upgrade each piece of armor will differ. In general, you'll be looking at anywhere between three Red Chuchu Jellies and 10 Rupees for the initial upgrade, and then anywhere from five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent one. For instance, the Champion Leathers can be upgraded to +5 defense, allowing you to keep pace with a good-sized group of enemies in the majority of cold conditions and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded up to +20 defense, giving you enough protection to survive an entire raid with a few of your friends.

Note that armor can't be upgraded the same way as weapons, so you'll want to work on upgrading it for physical power if you're Warrior or Spell Power when you're Mage. It is also recommended to save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor that you will still be wearing at the end of the story, for example the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you wear in the final boss fight, the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.

By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town, you can gain some benefits to your armor. In general, you should save these upgrades for the weapon you'll use to win the game, like the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer however, it could be beneficial to have a few improvements to the helmets and chest armor that allow you to stealth around some monsters.

Potions

Potions are bottled substances that, when consumed, give the player an effect on their status for a short period of time. There are five different types of potions, each with a specific set of effects and durations. Some potions may be upgraded, enhancing their effectiveness. You can also enhance the effects of certain potions by adding redstone dust and glowstone dust.

Upgrades to potion cost a certain amount of XP, which can be earned by making them on a table or the Alchemist's chest. The upgrade price varies depending on the type of potion used and the item's rarity and Mark Level.

To upgrade a potion to the next level, right-click on it in your inventory and select the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This opens a GUI where you can select the potions you want to upgrade and the amount of XP they'll produce when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches up to five at once, and their XP will be added to the total amount of XP you have.

Once a potion is upgraded, it will not be degraded until you use it again, or break the bottle it is stored in. You can also change the name of the potion by clicking on it in your inventory.

Version 1.7.2 introduced a few modifications to the mechanics of potions. Splash potions, for instance are now available with a time of 0:08 instead of the 22.5 seconds that are displayed on the item upgrade hover display. The table for potion is now crafted from four Wood Planks, and two Glass. It is now able to be utilized in both Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions aren't compatible with cauldrons, unlike Java Edition. This is the same for using a potion in an empty cauldron. This will draw out the potion, and refill the bottle.

Finally, there are simmering potions that are made using splash and dragon breath potions. Redstone can also be added to lingering potions to extend their effect. The table of potions has been rearranged to look more like the Java Edition. New potions have also been added, like the potion of leaping and decomposition.

Trinkets

A trinket could be a small, inexpensive ornament or piece jewelry. It may also refer to an object or ornament that serves a purpose, but isn't particularly significant, such as a tiny thimble. In some cultures, a trinket can be used to show affection or friendship between family members.

In addition to weapons, armor and potions, players can upgrade their trinkets. Upgrades can be purchased by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. In contrast to other upgrades for items trinkets, trinkets can be traded out at any time without losing their stats.

Upgrade vendors can be found at the capitals of each zone and in some cases in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be purchased using tokens, gold or fragments of a rare trinket.

Upgrading a trinket is an affordable alternative to buying new ones. You can upgrade a trinket with just 12 tokens. The new trinket will come with the same base ilvl as old one, and will come with an additional 1% upgrade bonus.

Trinkets can be upgraded when the old ones are not needed which allows a player to increase their power and value over time. They can also be traded between players which makes them an attractive alternative to gold.

In general, players should upgrade their most important items first. This means that the top-in slot items for each class are first upgraded before their secondary gear and finally other pieces of equipment that won't be replacing in the near future (such as a ring or an cloak). When choosing the items to upgrade, players should also take into account their class's preferred statistics. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats to a tank player and they want to upgrade their chest, helm and shoulders.

Trinkets can be upgraded to a higher level once they are no longer useful and the new trinket will receive an additional 1% upgrade bonus. However, a re-upgrade is likely to destroy the old trinket in the event that it is not salvaged using the Black Lion Salvage Kit or a higher-tier salvage tool. This means upgrading trinkets is more expensive than other upgrades, yet is still cheaper than buying an entirely new trinket.
