She tried it on a bumpy stony path and was impressed by how well it handled despite not being designed for a lot of off-road activities.

She was also happy by the ease with which the seat unit could be folded. It has a lever at the back of the chassis that is easy to pull and reach that then lifts the seat unit off its base. Furthermore the all-terrain puncture-proof wheels have an extra-large size and are designed to help you negotiate grass, cobbles and sand, as well as anything else that you encounter on your journeys.

This Bugaboo is also built for ease of use. It is a single piece self-standing chassis that can be used with the bassinet, or even the seat (you will require a separate frame for a carrycot). Baby Jogger City Mini

The City Mini is an ordinary full-size stroller. It's only notable because it is light and compact. It also excels in all of our categories, but it's not as high as some of the other models because of a poorly placed window that peeks out and storage that's a bit blocked.

This is a good stroller for families that need something to help them get through their daily and pram for newborn occasional adventures. It features a large footrest that is well-padded. This makes it a comfortable stroller for children. The seat reclines to a nice flat position, however we found that it was somewhat difficult to adjust and required two hands. The adjustable support for the calf is a great feature and will allow your child to kick up their feet if they're exhausted.

Like many of the other strollers we have reviewed The City Mini has a huge canopy that is UV50 and which parents rave about. The sun shade is elegantly designed and pulls all the way down, which is great because it will keep your child well protected from the sun without the need to keep tucking it back into the right spot.

The City Mini can be easily transformed into a double-stroller by attaching an add on kit. This gives you the option of using any Baby Jogger car seat and creating an entire travel system right from the beginning. The only issue is that the addition of a second seat can alter the look and feel of the stroller dramatically and some parents might be a bit hesitant to manage once they are used to it.

Another alternative to the City Mini is the City Mini GT Double Stroller. It is a bit more expensive than the single City Mini, but it includes additional features, including "forever-air" rubber tyres. It also comes with suspension, which is suitable for off-road excursions. It has an adjustable handlebar, a parking brake that is operated by hand and a more streamlined design than the regular City Mini.
