In our tests, it was able to accommodate three of the six stress test items all at once, which is better than what we see in a lot of other models. We didn't like the fact that the freezer ran slightly warm during our tests. This could cause freezing burn and can reduce the shelf life of your frozen foods.

This is the second GE fridge we've reviewed and it has an appealing design that is similar to other top appliances at this price. We haven't tried this particular model, but we've had a couple of Samsung fridges before and they've been solid. The ice maker works well and the fridge freezer collection is quiet (even when the ice maker is turned on). We've only experienced an issue of a minor nature with one of ours, when the water dispenser stopped filling up without explanation. This was quickly fixed by removal of the back panel, and then adding an additional wire of metal to the defrost coil, and then melting any ice formed over it.

This fridge is a solid option for a lot of people, and its cost is very competitive with other models with similar specifications. The ice maker is slow to refill and there aren't many options for moving bins. There's also a smaller bin below the tapered ice dispenser which isn't very useful since taller items can run into it.

This refrigerator can fit into the majority of kitchens, and is a great choice for those who want to reduce space.
