Upgrade components

Upgrade components are things that can be put into weapons, armor trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to provide an additional benefit or bonus when the equipment is used. They can be purchased from vendors or other players, looted or obtained as rewards, or made by crafting materials. Upgrade items can be cosmetic effects as well as giving bonus attributes.

Infusions, inscriptions, and enhancements are a type of upgrade component. They are not accessible to the general public and can only be used on equipment that is ascended or on certain weapons that are not ascending from the Factions Campaign. Infusions, inscriptions, and enrichments can be recovered from equipment using an Infusion Extraction Device, or salvaged using a Blacklion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool.

Phoenix Boxes, unlike other upgrade items are able to be exchanged and reused while still attached to an item that they are upgrading. These upgrade items can be used to increase weapon and armor quality without spending Dilithium. They can double the chances that the item upgrader will be upgraded to a top quality upgrade.

Upgrade components can be added to an item, but the previous one is destroyed (except for legendaries and upgraded equipment). Only upgraded items that have an identification level of 0 or higher can include upgrade components them. When you upgrade an item that is already equipped with a prefix or suffix upgrade will display the name of the resulting item upgrader mod [marvelvsdc.faith] as it appears in game (for instance adding an Radiant Insignia to Canthan Armor will cause it to be referred to as Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). A player can own up to 3 upgrade items at once.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be a valuable addition to any Best item upgrader, as they can provide a variety of unique advantages and boosts. Some Glyphs increase the number of affixes that an item has, increasing its effectiveness. These glyphs can be obtained by working through Dungeons. Some can even be found in specific World Tier 3 zones. It's important to remember that glyphs can only be used by players who have created a dungeon that has the same depth.

To use a Glyph you first have to create it using components, and then connect them using anchors. Then the component will automatically align itself to other components and paths within the same layer. If you do not want to create the glyph with components, you can use the combination of paths and anchors. Then, drag the element close to a highlighted component to lock it in place.

Some glyphs require certain conditions to be met like 25 Dexterity in a particular area on the Paragon Board. Some glyphs require a specific number of Primary Stat Nodes to be activated, which can be a bit difficult to achieve. Certain glyphs have a radius that grows with each level.

Glyphs are able to be applied to a variety of items and weapons, except for those belonging to a particular class. Some of these glyphs have conditions for instance, having a certain number of damage from Dexterity or Attack in a specific area on the Paragon board.

The Defend Glyph gives you an 5% chance to block enemy attacks. It also has a 15% chance to render the Hero vulnerable for two turns.

There are also a few glyphs that could be applied to tools that are limited-use like the Black Lion Chest or Trading Post. These glyphs contribute to the Combat Mechanic Achievement.

The most common glyphs in the game are the attack glyphs which boost Artifacts' ATK substats by a fixed value. These glyphs are especially beneficial for classes that use ranged weapons, such as Warriors or Rogues. The Exploit Glyph renders enemies who attack the Hero vulnerable to damage.

Reroll tokens

Reroll tokens are tokens that can be used to reroll the results when performing an Action. They are destroyed when the reroll happens. Reroll tokens are accessible in many ways, including dungeons and raids, or through participating in skirmishes. They can also be bought in the store or from other players. They are especially useful in dungeons and trials, since they allow players to reroll rewards at the end of the chest.

For items that are at level 1, there are recycling points. The upgrade gauge will increase by a certain amount of points each time you recycle an item. This number is determined by the rarity of the item and its level. The upgraded item will also not be able to keep its level when recycled, and the cost of recycling an upgraded item rises as its level increases.

The player may also use reroll tokens to reroll an item. However it will not bring back the item's original stats or levels. This is useful for players who wish to reroll a piece of equipment that they don't love but want to keep in their collection.

There are three kinds of upgrade tokens in the game: reroll, random, and upgrade. Each type comes with its own subtypes. For instance, reroll tokens are available in three levels: enhanced, rare and legendary. Each level requires an item from the level to make the new item of that quality.

To make use of rerolling tokens, select "Reroll Token" by right-clicking the Satanic or Angelic items in your inventory. Select the type of token you want to use. The available tokens include Item, Weapons, Misc, 1hguns, 2hguns, and Focus. The use of an Item token will produce a new Item of any kind. Utilizing the Weapon or Misc token will result in an entirely new weapon belonging to the same faction.

The item can be upgraded to a new item that has the same stats but is at a higher level. This could happen when the item is placed in the Pool that is not droppable or has been transferred to it as part of an Franchise Card.
