The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats, and sometimes enhances its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements and how many random augmentations are made available.

Reroll Tokens

There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a better quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action spaces remains on the space until the next success is being rerolled. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the beginning of each Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. Once they are open they will display a complete description and icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. Growthstones

Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. These stones can also be obtained by players who complete daily contracts.

To upgrade gear, players must first locate the appropriate item and then click the "level up" button. The menu will be displayed showing the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The game will put an item in your inventory after you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how far you are to getting the upgrade completed.
