WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you an increase in certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by 3. A random extra substat is also boosted alongside every upgrade.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless it has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like the eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are less important for the latter due to the need to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader kit upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by transferring the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied on any kind of weapon or armor. The item used to upgrade the item is discarded and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be used to create enchantments.

The upgrader is located in every major city, and is accessible anytime to upgrade your gear. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader at least once every couple of weeks to keep your equipment up-to-date.

The cost of upgrading will be based on the current Item level upgrade level of the equipment being upgraded however, they will always be cheaper than purchasing new gear from other sources. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest up to the level of ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. Buying a similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used for weapon, armor, tool and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased through NPCs who sell upgrades to item upgrader mod owners for various currencies. They can also find them in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased it can be applied to any weapon or tool using an The button will display the preview of an item's next level of upgrade, if there are enough materials.

The upgrade item cost depends on the item slot and the current level of the item and the weapon's price is higher than gloves or bracers for example. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones plus a certain number of crests. Some upgrades give discounts on Flightstones. After an item upgrader mod has been upgraded to a certain level, it can be degraded and sold back to the upgrader for a lesser amount of both currencies.

Many locations offer item upgraders in addition to the main island and some outposts. The NPCs offer both an upgrade coupon and the possibility of obtaining the latest recipe. The discount on upgrades increases as more items are upgraded. It can be increased by having players complete certain achievements or quests.

Contrary to Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II is no upgrader for items available in the beginning of Icewind Dale. The NPCs who are able to facilitate upgrades are available only via a variety of ways. This is both a benefit as well as a drawback.

In Season 3, many new features were added to the upgrade system. Once a player obtains an upgrade to a particular item level for a particular armor slot, upgrading further items to the same level will cost less, even when they belong to a different gear set.

The discount is applicable to all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests required to upgrade is cut as well, but is only available after certain milestones have been reached.

Crests

When upgrading gear in WoW, players have a variety of choices. Flightstones are a currency that is available to everyone who wants to upgrade. Crests are more special, and are used during specific item level upgrades. Crests are the main component of the Dragonflight gear progression system introduced in 10.1 and are available in four ranks.

First, you should know that Crests are only available to gear that is of a particular rank. Each rank has a different upgrade path. The simplest and simplest upgrade costs 15 crests. The most complicated upgrade can require up to 20 crests, depending on the type or equipment being upgraded.

Players can earn crests through completing content at the appropriate level. This could be by engaging in outdoor activities or taking on dungeons and raids of all difficulty levels to obtain lower-tier gear or Mythicbosses of raids or dungeons that have a high difficulty for gear in the endgame. These crests can be exchanged with an item upgrader, such as Cuzolth or Vaskarn, in Valdrakken for the appropriate upgrade steps and paths.

The new currency system isn't difficult to use, but it brings some changes to the upgrade process. Once a piece of gear attains the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer), it is no longer required to purchase Flightstones. This change lets players upgrade their gear to the highest possible level on all of their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

Another significant modification is that crests have one use therefore it's essential to use them properly. For instance it's a good idea to use all of your Whelpling-rank crests on the best gear you have available, and then save Drake and Wyrm crests to use for the next set of upgrades you're planning on making. This is especially applicable to items like trinkets and rings that fill multiple slots. The discount for the entire account is only applicable when all slots on the character are filled with high-quality gear.
