Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades to gear increase its stats base and often enhances its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements applied.
The elite racial Shield Razortail, for example, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capability in PvP and/or provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to reroll a purchased item, such as armor, weapon, or ring. This allows you to swap the item level upgrade for one similar item with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. They don't maintain the original equipment's condition and any money wasted won't get compensated.
The surviving players can acquire Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchased from the market at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of a piece of equipment, such as increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment using three categories three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage of melee and weapons attack while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to produce it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces stays on the spot until the next Success is to be rerolled. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of every Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by pressing on them. Once they're opened they show a complete description and the icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's shop can swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
In the end, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and other accessories. These stones are special stones that boost the value of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. They can also be obtained by players who sign daily contracts.
To upgrade gear, the player must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". The menu will be displayed that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being leveled up, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. The process of upgrading can last between a few seconds and minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process also is risk-free, and does not impact the durability of the item. This makes it an excellent way for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without putting a strain on their accounts. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto the new gear.
New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are numerous methods to obtain them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets you increase the stats of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It's done by combining an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will be upgraded to an upgrade to a higher level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item has been attained.
Items with upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be applied to more than one item at once. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a certain number of items to be added in addition to a minimum amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place an item to be upgraded. On the right, a preview shows what the gear will look like at its next level. When the player has enough items and has pressed the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item upgrader kit is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches the maximum level, its upgrades will not be available to it. In the same way, once an item reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades for that track will have discounted prices.
upgrade item components are a form of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets in order to provide an extra effect or attribute bonus while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained by completing quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs that can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
Upgrades to items enable players to increase certain stats of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item level upgrade will vary depending on its type however, you'll generally require Dilithium along with a number Upgrade Tokens.
Upgrades to items can be slotted into equipment set pieces and weapons for extra effects or a higher quality item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it cannot be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can boost the item's stats.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" for example, increases base defense and provides an additional 20 percent chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" on the other hand increases damage from weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial for some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they achieve an exact roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example is highly coveted by melee PvP communities and can be worth as much as 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
The game will display the requirements once you choose the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. This includes the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) and the tier of that item as well as the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
The game will add an item in your inventory after you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade items. The progress bar will then update to show you how close to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
