WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader
Upgrades give you boost in certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by 3. A random substat is also boosted alongside each upgrade.
Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless the item upgrade has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a high variance in stats (like Eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are less useful for those with higher variance due to the need to roll a perfect version.
Recycle Points
The item upgrader enables players to upgrade gear to a higher item level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any kind of armor or weapons. However, the item that is used to upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and can't be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to enchantments.
The upgrader can be found in all major cities, and is accessible at any time to upgrade your gear. To keep your gear current, it is recommended that you visit the upgrader each couple of weeks.
The cost of upgrades will vary based on the current level of the gear being upgraded but they will always be less expensive than buying new gear from other sources. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest up to ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. Buying a similar item upgrader mod will cost you 105.
Valorstones
Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade tools, armor, weapon, and accessory upgrades. They can be bought by players through NPCs that sell upgrades to items in exchange for a variety of currencies, and can also be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased it can be used on any weapon or tool using the help of The button will display a preview of an item's next upgrade level, if there are enough materials.
The upgrade cost depends on the item slot and the current level of the item level upgrade as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than gloves or bracers for instance. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones plus a certain number of crests. Some upgrades offer discounts on Flightstones. Once an item level upgrade has been upgraded to a certain level and is degraded, it can be sold and sold back to the upgrader for a lesser amount of both currencies.
Upgraders for items are available at many locations on the main island as well as some outposts. The NPCs provide an upgrade discount as well as a chance to acquire a new upgrade recipe. The discount on upgrades increases when more items are upgraded. It can be increased if players complete certain achievements or complete quests.
Icewind Dale does not have an item upgrader at start unlike Cromwell from Baldur's Gate II. Instead, the NPCs that are available to help with upgrades must be acquired through various methods, which is both an improvement as well as a disadvantage.
In Season 3, the upgrade system was tweaked a bit, with several new features added. Once the player has upgraded to a certain item level for an armor slot, upgrading other items to the same item Upgrader kit, www.demilked.com, level will cost less. This is regardless of whether the items come from an entirely different set of equipment.
The discount is applicable to all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests required to upgrade is cut too, but it is only available when certain milestones are achieved.
Crests
Players have several choices when it comes to upgrading their equipment in WoW. They can use Flightstones that are a general upgrade currency that is accessible to everyone, or crests, which are more specific and used to upgrade specific item levels. Crests are an important element of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System, which was introduced in version 10.1. They come in four ranks.
The first thing to note is that crests can only be used on equipment of a particular rank, and each rank has its own requirements for its upgrade path. The simplest and simplest upgrade path costs 15 crests, while the most complicated requires as many as 20 crests depending on the type of gear that is being upgraded.
Players can earn crests through finishing tasks at the appropriate level. This could mean doing outdoor activities or taking on dungeons and raids of all difficulty levels to obtain lower-tier gear or Mythic+ raid bosses or dungeons with heroic difficulty to obtain endgame gear. These crests can then be exchanged at an upgrader NPC, like Cuzolth in Dornogal, or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to obtain the appropriate upgrade pathways and steps.
Utilizing these new currencies isn't too complicated, but the system does introduce some modifications to the upgrade process. For example, once an item reaches the highest level of upgrading for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic), it won't need Flightstones to be upgraded. This is to allow players to upgrade their gear up to the highest level possible for all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.
It's also important to use crests wisely, as they are only used for one purpose. It is recommended to use your Whelpling-rank crests on the highest-quality gear you can find, and keep Drake and Wyrm Crests to be used for the next set of upgrades. This is particularly relevant for items like rings and trinkets that occupy several slots. The discount on the account will only be applicable if all the slots on the character are filled with top-quality equipment.
