Transparent device that can evolve certain Pokemon species. Silph Co. produced it.
The upgrader for items adds a new widget to the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. The Manager is priced at 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no gameplay benefit other than making it easier to purchase upgrades.
Increases the effectiveness of
With an item upgrader you can enjoy many bonuses. They can include stats as well as additional bonuses. These bonuses can be used on armor, weapons and trinkets. They can be used to boost the abilities of a character or give a new dimension of variety to their appearance.
The World of Warcraft upgrade system allows players to upgrade their gear by paying currency to an upgrader for their item upgrades. This system was first introduced in Mists of Pandaria, and was further developed in Warlords of Draenor. It's a good way to increase the level of your equipment, allowing you to skip the tedious grind of completing quests and avoid numerous wipes in Mythicand dungeons.
If an item is upgraded, its base type will change. Upgrades to a normal item result in an Exceptional version, while upgrades to an Exceptional model create an Elite. The item will retain its previous upgrade stats, but will also receive an additional bonus from its new base type. The bonus will be randomly selected from the following options: a chance to obtain weapons with a greater damage range or an enhanced reload speed or a chance to gain an improved defense roll.
The amount of extras gained when upgrading depends on the number of upgrades completed. Each upgrade will increase the number of extras by up to 3 points. In addition, each upgrade will also increase the main stat by 1.
In addition to the stat increases, some upgrades will also give a random secondary boost. These boosts can be very valuable and should be taken into consideration when choosing which items to upgrade. Some boosts are beneficial in certain builds (such Whistan's shield, for FB sorcs) while others can bring an enormous amount of value to specific collectors.
Some items come with built-in boos which is less useful when upgraded. For instance, the Goldwrap has an extra potion slots. These are usually upgraded to increase the value of the perfect or nearly perfect item.
Costs
Upgrades are accompanied by certain costs associated with them. The first cost is the upgrade itself. It can be costly and is dependent on the new level of the item as well as the number of perks it receives. It is also costly to upgrade an item to a better tier (such as Explorer > Champion, or Veteran > Heroic).
The second is the cost of materials required to upgrade. The items used are typically either Power Dices (dropped by monsters 21and over) or Minerals and Erons (obtainable by completing specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor quests). The amount of these materials required is available in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.
The process of upgrading an item is complicated and takes time. It can take 8 hours, depending on the size of the upgrade. The upgraded item's base stats are calculated by using the new ilvl of the item level upgrade bonus, perks, as well as other properties. This calculation determines the updated Armor Class bonus, damage dice, and other important statistics. In some instances the upgrade will provide additional benefits that can be chosen from a list of available advantages.
Rarely, the advantages obtained will cost more than one perk slot In these instances, the upgrade will only replace the highest-cost perks. Occasionally, the upgrader will make other changes to an item, for example, changing the type of weapon damage or or removing an unwieldy or operative property. The cost for these changes is determined by the item's current ilvl and it could require a specific material, such as an adamantine alloy.
Success Rate
The process of upgrading an item is based on the chance. Like any random system there is a chance that it won't succeed. There are several ways to increase the chances of success. These include the use of an item called an Upgrade Pity, or the addition of extra items to the upgrade.
The Upgrade Pity can be purchased from the NPC for the smithing process in Lost Ark. It increases the chance of a successful upgrade by a certain percentage. It is similar to the "luck bonus" that some items offer, but it is more solid. It can be added to any armor or weapon and can be used up to three times.
You can also add additional components to the upgrade to increase its chances of success. These are displayed in a window above the + button. However, there are limitations to this, and the highest amount of material that can be added is shown just above the + button in the UI.
Another method to increase the chances of an upgrade achieving success is to use an item known as the Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it. This item is beneficial when you own an item or weapon equipment that is at the highest level for its tier, or is close to it. This item will allow you upgrade the equipment to the next tier without the risk of it breaking.
If an upgrade is unsuccessful the system will be returned to its initial state. This is typically an upgrade, but it could also be an upgrade. It is an excellent idea to save an upgrade when you're near the maximum capacity of an item, and to use it as a last resort.
There are several items in the Kafra shop that can be used to increase the odds of an upgrade succeeding. You can boost your chances of success by upgrading equipment several times using HD Oridecon and HD Elunium. In the same way, increasing the likelihood to receive a Double Mint from Shoe-Minting a maximum of five times will improve the chances of success.
Failure Rate
The upgrader of an Best item Upgrader allows players to add an additional slot to their equipment. These slots can be used to apply an enhancement or enchantment on an item. It is important to remember that not all items are upgradeable. The rank of an item will determine the speed at which it can be upgraded and transformed. The higher the item's rank, the more Zeny and items will be needed to upgrade it.
This system can be very expensive, particularly for high-end gear. It could cost as high as 100,000 z and 100 Carnium to upgrade a weapon or armor. The chance of success also decreases as you go up in rank. You can increase the chance of upgrading an item using cash shop items.
Normal Upgrade is a standard upgrade that can only be applied to armor, weapons and bikes. It employs different core grades depending on the type of item. In general, lower grade items require cheaper cores while higher grade ones require more expensive cores.
To carry out an ordinary upgrade you must first have the proper number of cores. Once you have them then click the button next to the item you wish to upgrade. The upgrade window will then show a percentage indication of your chance of success. This percentage is based upon the level of upgrade items and the core nature of the item you've selected.
You can also select a safeguard for your item, which will protect the Best item upgrader in case of failure. This protection is not free however the cost will be lower than a new item. The protection is only valid only once per upgrade and will not expire until used again.
The interface for the item upgrader is a little confusing, but not impossible to navigate. The main menu is visible on the left and the upgrade window is on the right. The arrows to the left of the UI depict the various stages of the upgrade process. If you are not sure what you're doing, you can hit the question mark to get assistance. The upgrade process can take anywhere from five to ten minutes.
