Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more capable. They pass our tests on cleaning and can handle different flooring. Choose models that permit you to choose between multiple types, including self-emptying and clean stairs.

Many of the top models work with your smartphone. Find an application that lets you save schedules, maps and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive best robot vacuum vacuum and mop combos on the market. It uses lidar for navigation and creates maps of floors and rooms.

When I tried the S1, it was quick to locate the downstairs area, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, along with medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It easily drove close to walls without colliding with them, and was able to drive across raised room thresholds with no problem, although it sometimes struggled to get down stairs in a single pass. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. The mop sped along on its flat side and swung up when it came to carpets or rug.

Before each mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills the water tank with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also provides an extra-deep cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 cleaning sessions, but this will vary depending on the frequency you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure that it's operating well. It is necessary to regularly wash out the tank that has been contaminated to avoid it becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to keep them from getting clogged by dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs All-in-one robot vacuum and mop is a powerful solution for your cleaning requirements. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction and comes with a number of innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning to avoid obstacles and cleans around furniture. Its mopping capability is remarkable, with mops rotating that actually lift and scrub the floor, as opposed to just dragging the pad across it. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station as required.

The robot comes with an easy interface that guides you throughout the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum which can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are also two water tanks that can be automatically emptied or filled. It also comes with a variety of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that easily picks up all kinds of debris, including the tiny dust particles that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are decent, but it could get stuck on small area mats and rugs at my home (which you can mitigate by defining virtual boundaries in the app). Its mopping capabilities are also excellent and include a pair of mop pads that can lift and scrub the floor, rather than just dragging the pad across it. The mops are cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station when needed. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as required.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. However, their latest flagship model is packed with impressive features. It offers outstanding cleaning results and hands-free maintenance making it a top contender for our top mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush will ensure an effective, customized cleaning is accomplished.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up fine and large debris from both hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our test's dirtiest areas well, avoiding tangled pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping power is enhanced by a side brush that automatically extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that is placed along baseboards.

Its navigation is intelligent it can navigate through small spaces and negotiating stairways without skipping a step. It can move from one room to the next without needing to reverse the direction. This is beneficial for homes with a lot of rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than some competitors however, and tends to leave a thick space around obstacles, which could result in missed spots.

The app features a simple and intuitive interface that will be easy for both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, adjust suction power and mopping settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and more. You can control it via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You'll need a stable WiFi connection to use the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 pro

Robot vacuums are great in removing dirt and debris, but they're not able to get all dust. That's why it's important to use your regular vacuum at least once a week, especially to remove dust from corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mop, is designed to do just that. It is simple to connect to your WiFI network at home and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, which includes the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's less expensive because it does not have mopping capabilities and has an aluminum body.

Despite losing the ability to wipe your floors, the Q5 still has some of the best automatic vacuum cleaner mopping and vacuum performance we've seen on a robot vacuum that vacuums and mops at this price. It's got a powerful suction power of 5500Pa and an automatic vacuum cleaner emptying system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It comes with a smart app that lets you schedule cleaning times and set the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling and washing system for hands-free operation.

Its mops are also impressive, with 2700Pa of power to take on dirt, dust and pet hair on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was among the few robots we tested did not show problems with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it did not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn't surprising, since it does NOT include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robotic vacuum we've ever tested. It also uses a unique mapping system that lets it reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums cannot. The device also stores dust in a bigger dustbin that means you have empty it less frequently. It also has washable filters which further reduces costs. The robot can also recognize carpets and increase suction if required. You can also mark areas you want to be able to keep from using the app.
